I think you can make the playoffs with Tyrod. But you need everything to align and go your way. It just leaves so little margin for error when your QB struggles throwing the ball when the other team KNOWS you have to throw. We'll see soon enough what Sean is planning.

Coaches and GM's think differently. GM's see a few years ahead and coaches are thinking of that season. That's why I am really against making Sean the GM too. Coaches don't want to draft or develop rookie QB's. They cling to even bad veterans as a security blanket. If McDermott ties himself to Tyrod for 2 years I think he will be gone and we start over in 2019.

I don't think Whaley is in charge anymore. He is assisting McDermott and then will be shown the door after the draft.

The reports coming out were that Whaley had moved on from keeping Tyrod and it was McD that decided to bring him back.

Plus Whaley is a natural gambler. It didn't always work out but you can see how a Mahomes could get Whaley going.

Both Mahomes and Trubisky would be great fits for the Dennison offense. I take Mahomes.

Watson throws a flutter ball. A broken down David Carr who just had shoulder surgery can thrown the ball harder than Watson.

Kirby, I'm not asking you to join me. But I will say many fans had no interest in bringing back Tyrod and doing last year over. I wanted a clean slate and I want my team to be smart. Impress me! I used to be easy to please but the idiotic moves over and over have made me skeptical. Bills and Sabres under Terry Pegula and Russ Brandon's One Buffalo are boring AND they lose. That's a deadly combination.

This is about the fan experience. As a fan I have waited and waited. Now we hire a defensive coach that brings back the veteran QB and looks like this will never end. I know so many people that gave up or have lost interest. I used to call my Dad to talk Bills football. Now he has no interest in the team. This is how you lose people.

Apples and Oranges. I am not talking about staff but my experience following this team. More than 15 years is more than enough time. And Whaley has been here since 2010.

That's the company line but it doesn't hold up.

My hope is that Trubisky, Mahomes, or Watson start and go Dak on people. Then people can start to question why Terry made Sean not only the coach but the GM.
