    Samuel is a gadget player. But he can make plays. I am fine with that later in the draft. Not at ten overall.

    I used to enjoy the draft more when I had little information. By the time Maybin was picked I knew he was a small 235 lb DE that had limited snaps beating actual tackles.

    I think Foreman is very talented. Needs to be motivated a bit to go 100%. My guy is Jeremy McNichols.

    The problem is you don't get to choose making the playoffs. If you try to build around a limited QB you need everything to go right that year. When is the last time that happened for Buffalo? I prefer to tilt the odds in my favor.

    Foreman is talented but his NFL career depends on him landing in the right spot. If he has a good to great line he will look awesome.

    I think Nix and Whaley moved this team from punching bag to near playoffs. But the window for the D they built has closed and we need to replenish. We won't know what Whaley was doing recently but I suspect Rex had too much power in the draft room and that's why we are on the way down.

    You have the odds. If any of 31 teams take Kelly over Buffalo I am out of luck.

    Sounds like Pegulas have Toronto envy. They now want to hire a GM who is "progressive". I like that idea let's see what that entails.

    I actually think we are only 2 great drafts from being competitive. That's why I spend so much energy discussing this. This draft is critical (yes, I know people always say that). But I really believe this could set us up for playoffs or send us down in to a worse place than where we are.

    Keep in mind that Bylsma was a worse hockey coach than Rex was a football coach. That's pretty bad. I want Sheldon Keefe coaching the Sabres. Young, smart. Will run and gun. You can go to games and not fall asleep!

    Baptiste, Bailey, Carrier, Fasching, Guhle, Nylander, Asplund Speed and skill on the way. They do have to buyout Moulson and or Ennis, move Gorges to 7th D. Antipin coming and they can trade for another D with pieces Anarchist.

    Sabres are a lot closer than people realize. It takes longer in hockey. I actually think Tim Murray did a good job with the picks and prospects. His mistake was hiring the wrong coach and not firing him sooner. Sabres could be in playoffs next year and they have Jack Eichel. It would be as if the Bills had Derek Carr or Mariotta.

    Honestly, the fans could run this team better. Hate that the NFL requires owners who are billionaires. Buffalo, NY should own the Bills.

    It's a perfect story of human redemption. Stories sell. Kelly will be the only thing that can get fans interested. McDermott is a boring speaker. I expect a boring draft. This is needed. Ok, here is the bet. If Kelly is drafted or signed by Buffalo as FA I win and you lose. Winner gets to choose avatar for the loser for 1 month.

    Roman designed the offense and called the plays. he preferred to run the ball but he also was in a situation in SF where he had an elite defense and Kaep/A Smith as his QB's. Lynn didn't have to call runs over passes. It's not in a contract he signed!

    If the guy busts then it means we might pick 3, 4, or 5 instead of 8, 9, or 10 next year. So we get our franchise QB and we spend 2 picks. That's the going rate now if you see the Wentz tradeup.
