  1. And, at the end of the day it mattered not as we won the division and got the 2 home games. What mattered at the end of the day was receivers not making plays when they were there and would've impacted the last game. And, many of us said so back in the Spring when DeAndre Hopkins was available to go get him. That is not Josh's error that is on McBeane.
  2. You're correct, thanks for reminding me. It could just be he setting the table to be outpaced by the market.
  3. Beane said he'd be crazy not sign Gabe Davis with the caveat at the right price. However, I feel like Beane's value of Davis is probably higher than it should be.
  4. I think your priorities look correct except I'd move WR ahead of S. Looks pretty good otherwise.
  5. I thought I'd heard it all. The ends that people go to blame Josh is close to unrivaled in Sports. What I can't understand is how people can't see that this is a team that is mostly pretty mediocre both staff and talent wise other than the QB. He should be the least prioritized problem this team has, all he can do is move closer to perfection. It's confusing to me that some think when he plays the Chiefs the context is so neutral all he has to do is play a little better and we're golden. I ask you Allen critics when? when will you hold the rest of structure around the QB responsible and demand improvements.
  6. That my friend is very debatable in the playoffs. His team and his coaching staff hasn't been good enough You're kidding right? extrapolating out that way and ignoring that we were the number 2 seed playing at home is suspect
  7. Anarumo is overrated. He seems to have Bills #, but league wide his defense was 30th this year and in his career has averaged 25.5 rank in yards and bottom 10 in scoring D. Callahan and Taylor are underrated as they were able to win with Browning (who no one wanted) and not just Burrow.
  8. Wins are a team stat not an individual stat and you know it
  9. NOT!!!! another narrative debunked. Playoff performance all time
  10. I'm just glad to hear you're doing well. Had all kinds of thoughts going through my head when you disappeared at the end of 2021 (it was Covid time you know!). Always enjoyed your commentary, as I considered you my favorite poster. I hope you stick your head back in on occasion just for fun. Myself, well I've started dismissing myself from the board for periods (usually after the draft until start of the season), and posting more infrequently. Others, such as Yolo have taken time off as well. Great to hear from you and my best to you, stay well my friend! Are you still lifting?
  11. That's a problem when you believe your #2 is a #1 and your #4 is a number #2
  12. Well, I think firing McD is<1%, but I also wonder if Pegula hiring BB is any greater than that. But, you raise another interesting thought, because BB may not get a HC job.
  13. Special Teams Smiley gone Receivers coach Henry gone Babich gets promoted by title, McD stays involved on D but becomes more HC again. Interesting thought experiment. Is it more likely Pegula hires Belichick or fires McDermott?
  14. The board choked last night, I couldn't get on until.....well you know. Great Forum and appreciate what you're trying to do here.
  15. I'm constantly surprised by reasonable and intelligent people not realizing NFL football is an organization sport and not even just a team sport. To slice it down to QB play, and the amount of context needed to adequately judge that is complicated .Yet people do it constantly and it is mind blowing. I'm not talking about media either, they are theatre for the most part, although they do impact the narrative unfairly. The notion that you can look at Brock Purdy or someone like him with his 120 QB rating and still not see the context of the situation that is lacking, well I don't get it. QB wins, especially in the playoffs is exactly like that. Dan Marino lost his only Super Bowl appearance. i hated playing him because I knew they were never out of the game. He hardly sniffed any playoff success, not because of his play, it was his organization the Dolphins not being strong enough. The Bills lose at this level of the season, not because of Josh Allen. He is the strength, he is plenty good enough to win a Super Bowl with. They lose because the rest of it isn't good enough. I chose not to worry about whether our strengths are great enough.
  16. So to solve the problem , you would get rid of the strength of the team in the hopes of getting the number 1 QB in football instead of the number 2. I think there are much easier and better ways. Your analysis and problem solving skills are questionable at best in my opinion.
  17. If thats you feelings, what would you do about it? Trade him, Cut him? Tell him to play better?
  18. We went way to long with AJ chasing Kelce before we made any adjustment. Even given the injuries, McD said the D, starting with him, didn't do enough. He's correct of course.
  19. People forget why we were even in the game.
  20. Tuel rhymes with f_ _ l. I'm not going to bother arguing with someone who takes such a narrow view. Have a nice life.
  21. Yeah, I don't think we need add depth, we need the best outside playmaker we can get our hands on.
  22. One of those really top receivers like Harrison, Nabers etc. Trades need to be considered (including those 10 picks). As long as we get a young safety somewhere, I think we need to do what needs to be done to add playmakers.
  23. To Sean's credit in his post game he said, " we didn't do enough in 2 of the 3 phases of football, starting with defensively and special teams!" He said offensively we did we some really good things. I think this goes to his playing complimentary football mantra. Our offense was our best defense last night, and our kicking game sucked.
