  1. Yes. I had lost hope in EJ. We need wins because the division is winnable. Bottom Line is competent QB play with this team and we can make the playoffs,
  2. Good post I agree with what you are saying. The pressure is on the coaching staff to not lose this team.
  3. Well thought out. You don't belong on this board! HA
  4. Great Post! I agree with your reasoning.
  5. Yeah, but he saddled himself on Jim Kelly! Like it or not the coach and QB are tied together. Especially who you choose to ride. It says a lot about the coach. And, whether he is to be trusted in his decision making.
  6. I am a convert now. I was one who was willing to trust the decision makers and give this kid a chance. At the game last week, which I was at, it was becoming apparent this guy is not a good enough thrower of the football to get the job done. This week has clinched it for me and I suspect many others as well. Marrone's vote is always plus one though...so it won't happen. Too bad because with even competent QB play this team would be tough too beat. Start Orton now and see if the season can be salvaged. The other guy has not shown enough. It is not fair to the players or fans to continue this. And, the coaching staff will be fired.
  7. Coaches , Quarterback and Offensive Line in that Order are the !@#$ing problem
  8. Get him the !@#$ out of there
  9. He sucks and the decision makers !@#$ed up
  10. Im !@#$ing throughout with Manuel
  11. Of course it means EJ is not throwing the ball downfield as much as some QBS. The point is that it doesn't mean you can't be successful.
  12. What a misuse of stats! If you sort by % of YAC EJ has the third worst in the league. Guess who's behind him Andy Dalton, guess who's in front of him RUSSELL WILSON. Nice Try-meaningless.
  13. I don't believe this is a death blow for this team. In contrary, if each side sees problems with what the other is doing, conflict is necessary to bring about a better result. If it becomes dysfunctional to what is going on the field beginning this weekend-then it becomes a problem. People who are conflict averse shouldn't work in these types of jobs-NFL. Everyday with EVERY team is a contest amongst people just like in the corporate world.
  14. Scenario one: We have the ninth pick and use it on Sammy Watkins because he fell to us (unlikely). Then next year we use our number one to draft Joe Schmoe. Scenario two: We trade our one and four from next year and swap spots 4 for 9 and draft Sammy, because it was unlikely he would be there at 9. In both we drafted Sammy with OUR pick. In one the pick was in our spot(unlikely), in the other we paid a price to move up 5 spots. What is different? instead of drafting Joe Schmoe number one next year Cleveland will. That was the cost, our 4 and 9 next year. Our pick this year didn't cost a thing, it was ours either way. I don't understand why people keep saying we gave away 2 number ones. No we didn't- we got Sammy and gave away ONE number one!! Saying this years number one was part of the cost ridiculous. Using the logic some are using, RG3 cost FOUR number ones. The pick to draft him and the three to move up. Charging The Bills 2 number ones because they actually drafted the guy they traded for is ludicrous.
  15. I think we should worry about next year's needs at the time. We can still make trades to move in the draft to fill needs next season.
  16. I thought the same thing.LMAO. I tell you what though. It made my day to read something a little different about the Bills draft instead of Blather from the so-called experts. I agree with this! Especially the nut sack part.

  18. Good post! I would add the Kansas City game. One of the flukiest losses in the NFL last year. No team can sustain getting outgained 490-200 and win. It takes a lot of ridiculously crazy plays to defeat that. Also, I thought the first Jets game we played poorly and were lucky to be in it. I would also add to the conversation if you believe this kind of discussion is pointless. In terms of what actually happened ...yes it is-no doubt. In terms of looking forward, it definetly can mean something. Those who are good at, and do predictions for a living, know this. They are interested in separating luck from what is sustainable over the long term.
  19. This is correct! The funny thing about this post-draft grading is our grades will get better as our record gets better.
  20. I was thinking the same thing. FA QBs are pretty decent next year as well.
  21. What a joke!!! I don't get all the love for the Browns either.
  22. Yeah, Richardson/Weeden Part 2. And, I like Johnny. But seriously, a CB who many think is the third or fourth best one. Descibed as a "pile Inspector". Come on. Absolutely spot on. Don't get all the hating on EJ from some of the so-called experts. The guy has shown more than people have given him credit for.
