That was brutal by the defense....... Started with a brutal play by the rookie. Terrible angles by Rapp and others. Just an embarrassing display in this game so far. Time to let Allen be Allen....

We have no DTs that can stuff the run. We haven't for years now. We built a team to stop the pass, but neglected the run stuffers completely. And it shows in games like this where teams just run it down your throat. Beane needs to address the lack of beef up front.

We stop 4th and short runs..... They would have likely thrown. That means the refs can get involved which is no good for us.

That was terrible blocking by Kincaid and Torrence. Not a huge fan of the play call in that situation either. Have to be better there. Game plan seems way too conservative at this point.

Nice ball placement by Allen there. Gave Shakir a chance to get upfield and protected him from the hit.

I think we know now why the line was only 5.5-6. I think the books knew that Cooper and maybe even Benford weren't playing or I think the spread would have been 8+. Not going to be an easy one today and I think we will be frustrated at times. But just find a way to win and move on.

I like our guys, I really do. But I think Wilson is becoming one of the best WRs in the league. Williams is a better all around player than Oliver, although I like Oliver a lot. Hall and Cook are a wash to me. And Benford vs Sauce is yet to be determined in my opinion. Benford is having a much better season this year, but I still think it is too early to call. That said, a top 5 pick vs a 6th rounder even being close is awesome for us.

Pretty sure he has repeatedly said that Knox is his best friend on the team.

Coleman followed up his breakout game last week with another very solid effort today. The TD was awesome and the way he worked back to a couple balls today makes me think he really does understand what it takes for him to be successful in this league. But, as good as today was, it could have been even better. I know there are a few plays he wants back, probably none more-so than the drop on a perfect hole shot down the sideline. He got both hands on it, and I am pretty sure he knows that that is a ball he needs to come down with. But hey, good on the rook for building on a great game overall. Keep grinding, Keon.....

Nice game today. As I mentioned before the game, I didn't have a great feel for how it was going to go, but after the first couple of series, it was pretty obvious we were going to be the better team in this game today. I am actually very interested in seeing the breakdowns from this game and the All 22 tape as well. After watching just the main broadcast, though, I did see some encouraging signs out of the coaching on both sides of the ball. To me at least, just going off the first watch, I didn't get the feeling that we were running on 80% of first downs like we have been a lot of the season. It also seemed like Allen was under center a bit more and we ran some more play action than normal. It wasn't always the most convincing play action, but any effort to implement it is better than not. So, shout out to Brady for changing things up a bit. And, on the defensive side of the ball, the run fits were great in this one. The best of the season by far. So, for as much praise and shout outs for the players we can give, I choose to give the coaching staff their props. They had as good a day as they have had in a long time.

Still working so I haven't been able to comment, but that was a heck of a drive and an awesome catch by Coleman to finish it. Gotta clean up the penalties, though. Made that harder on ourselves than it needed to be. Let's go defense!
