  1. Amazon's email says it does Netflix.
  2. I do remember him at games back in the 80s and 90s at the Aud. I haven't seen him there at the new arena, but that doesn't mean he's not there.
  3. If this turns out be the way it goes, Saint Ralph it is for sure. I'd be for renaming Buffalo Wilsonville. Putting a statue of Ralph on every corner. I never heard about Jim Kelly being a close family friend of the Pegulas. How did this come about?
  4. Damn!
  5. IMO, it's the most important thing in Buffalo history.
  6. I have a Sony Blu-ray player. Does that mean I can get netflix with that, or do I still have to get involved with routers, networks and such? Nanker - it's not the money at all. I just don't want to screw up my network. Rolling Stone is very high on this thing: http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/news/5-reasons-why-you-should-be-excited-about-amazon-fire-tv-20140403?utm_source=dailynewsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter
  7. Yeah, his nephew is a quarterback for them.
  8. How does this work? I thought the trust was the owner?
  9. I had asked about the best way to get Netflix to my TV a few months back. Roku was suggested, but it involved my network and I still haven't' had my computer guy over. He's got it pretty complex - I have a business and a secretary and all types of computers, printers, etc. hooked up to it, so I can't do it on my own - I'd rather not get netflix than eff up my business. But, I got an email from amazon prime about this today, and see some news stories. They claim you just hook this into your computer and your TV.............Is this true - or is that only if you don't have a network? It sounds promising: http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-CL1130-Fire-TV/dp/B00CX5P8FC#
  10. She looks better in Jboys picture.
  11. Wow - she's hotter than I was thinking!
  12. Thanks. I do remember that on the sidelines.
  13. JBoys - you got a picture of this woman?
  14. Thanks very much! I think everybody knows what they mean by a sack! The thing about Kelly taking over leadership, I remember when he very first got here, he said he's not the leader. Guys like Joe Deviln are. He's just a player coming in. I know a year or two later, it was then said that Kelly is the unquestioned leader.............What I don't remember is Devlin, Smerlas, etc. resenting him..................I think Haslett only played one game with Kelly - didn't Kelly only play the final preseason game of '86 and then Haslett was cut that next week?
  15. I do think Mark Gaughan is great. IMO, what he writes - you can take it to the bank. I remember the first time I noticed that was when Peerless Price was considered a bust in his 2nd year. He used to have a great Q&A column on Fridays that I thought would be hokey, but it turned out that he would give serious opinions in that..........Somebody asked about PP and he said don't worry about him. He's going to be very good. The next year, Price busted out big time. The latest example was when he mentioned that the Toronto series looked doomed soon after the game, I knew it was done.
  16. Who is Big Nasty?
  17. Buftex is right as usual. What is the problem with this? I agree with Jeff Simon that print media covers certain things better. For me, I have to read the paper every day to kind of hit the reset button. Especially when it's a big story...........The bigger the story, the more information out there - the less I know the story.............There's this thing online talking about this part of the story. This one about how many are missing. Etc. Etc.............And, I'm always like "What is the timeline of this !@#$ing story?!?" The paper usually does a better job of resetting the whole thing for you..........And, it did a great job with that full section on Ralph Wilson. I don't know if Jeremy2020 is Jeremy White, because although I'm a big fan of Brad Riter, he did some social media stuff on this today and it's getting tiring. Jeremy2020 thinks the News has a horrendous track record of covering the Bills? Larry Felser was the #1 Bills writer, then passed the baton to Vic Carucci, who then passed it to Mark Gaughan.............They are/were all GREAT
  18. Any MDs on the board know why he would have a fever? Then what was Kelly POd about?
  19. I don't watch much local or even national or cable news - but I had it on last week watching about Jim Kelly..........And, then this stupid story came on. The two anchors were yakking it up about the karma angle, too. How the !@#$ did this stupid thing make it all over? Do they put viral videos on the news all the time now?
  20. I know I said it above, but I want a 30 for 30, with all the behind the scenes, smoke filled rooms stuff. I love sports and I love movies, but I bet I don't like more than 5 sports movies. So, I doubt I'd be happy with a non doc movie about the AFL. Miracle was probably the best pure sports movie for me. Bull Durham was even better, but not purely a sport movie, IMO.
  21. What do you do for a living?
  22. I'm going to get scared when Murph starts talking about how LA is such a great football town.
