  1. Like I said before, I think he played great in coverage last year. I like him a lot just not sure if he is an attacking the LOS tackler.
  2. At LB, a bet Ellison takes TKO's job. Just a hunch but like Willis though I am not sure he covers well enough for cover 2. So maybe a trade down in Rnd 1 for possibly an OLB (Paulz, Beason (could be ILB), or ??) ans move Crowell to ILB. You know what is odd to me is that I thought Fletcher's zone D was awesome this year. How many INT's and Passes did he knock down. He was diving all of the place to do it. Guess he just does not "make attacking the LOS" type of tackles that Marv spoke about...
  3. I agree that Fletcher WILL NOT be back. Marv and Dock respect the hell out of him but Marv said point blank that we need LB's that attack the LOS to make tackles and not just make persuit tackles. I would have loved to hear Marv address if he thought London fit this style... I believe we may go DT in Rnd 1-4 no doubt. One thing is for sure: They will go LB in Rnd 1 or 2. In fact, I bet they trade down and get an LB in round 1. Just a hunch if they don;t grab one in FA. Also, I get a very strong feling that this will be Spike's last year with the Bills. I am guessing they feel he also does not attack the LOS well eough to play MLB. I know he was very blockable this year but he improved his ability to shed very much towards the end of the season. IMHO, he could play MLB in this D but who am I?
  4. That would only mean that he will die there....or maybe he already did b/c he does have shrucken head disease...
  5. How To: Make Eggs (read Frittata and Retardta) under 1 hr! by the TBDer that posted that hilariously gormet recipe
  6. What is the top 15 or the whole 1st round ? Can you pls post?
  7. We would NOT be taking about his MANLY shoulders and drooling on our key boards as we typed our post about it though!
  8. Not JUST the leader but the QB who audibled into and out of running plays, managed the game very well, and lets face it, lead them up and down the field aginst a very good Chicago defense in the rain. It could not have been setup any better for the Bears than getting a game in the non-stop rain and a kickoff for a TD followed by an INT. If GROSSman and the O had a decent game, they could have won. Nevertheless, Manning was the MVP. period.
  9. Not the same but still a lot of similarities between that type of play and JP's '05 if you look real honestly at it. JP was so inconsistent fundementally last year that the lep he took in '06 was just excellent. I honestly just hope he can improve a lttle next year and not try to do too much and regress b/c if so we will be hunting! Go Bills
  10. 11 picks before us so if he is considered as good as Warren Sapp (or very close) coming out of college and has better character, why would he last until #12. We need to consider other positions if the DT (or both if Marv wants Branch) we want is gone.
  11. We COULD get compensation depending on the Net loses in Free agency. Could get a 3rd rounder but likely a lot less or zero b/c I bet we sign enough mid-levels to make the net 0. Also, you have got to admit that No ONE here will be surprised if after he jumps to another team for HUGE $, that he will not live up to expectations to be a Top 2 or for that matter Top 5 CB. I am not saying he won't b/c he has the talent but he has made MENTAL blunders that have played out to cost us games. I know I won't be surprised if he is a disappointment!
  12. I like him a lot for attitude, toughness and his ST play. I don't like that we drafted him in the 3rd (not 4th right?) round though but he can't help that the man that drinks baby blood (gosh, my third child is due in April and I can't believe I wait until now to use that moniker for TD the first time) dafted him that high.
  13. As always, it is good to be hopeful. I try to be and really hope we can keep Nate even at Champ Bailey money b/c I think he'd be worth it for at least 5 yrs. That said, I dont think Marv/ralph will offer that much AND I believe he wants to try to go to Houston or Washington or another team closer to his Houston home with a team that WILL pay the maybe better than Champ money. I believe he will be gone and Marv will focus on rebuilding the DL and LB which are the corner stone of the Cover 2, along with our already young strong Safeties. Lets face it, how many very good CB's are on Chicago and Indy in the Super Bowl. The heart of their D's is in LBs and DL's, right? I am postive we will be getting younger (see Draft '07) at LB and younger at DL (see Draft '07) in at least 2 of our first 4 picks. I'd say the Bills brass would consider their draft as not going the way they planned at all, if they did not get help at those two areas in the first 4 picks. I won't say the Bills ignore CB in the draft but I am now leaning (I have previously posted I thought we'd go CB like Revis (Pitt) or Hall (Michigan) if M Lynch was not available at 12 but now I believe (strongly) they would take Lynch or a DL or LB they love at 12 or lower (if an LB). God love him, but all of us chagrined, if Marv takes a reach (good player but available lower) at 12 this year! Peace. go Bills!
  14. he looks slightly better as an RB (runner) and maybe even as a receiver but agree 4th or lower would be highest for me... who am I though?
  15. Yes! 4 G's and 3 DT's in this draft and we are good to go!
  16. Chris M is just hilarious. All of TD's choices are MUST RESIGNs and there are always concerns with the owner, not the player. Amazing.
  17. Exactly. marv will "pick the player who will come in and make a difference right away". could be DE, DT, CB, OL, or RB and Lynch. The one thing I am pretty certain it won't be is WR unless C. Johnson falls...
  18. My guess is that Houston snags M Lynch at 8 after they sign Nate Clements (house in Houston) to a huge contract b/c Wash Redskins can't put up an offer like the Texans nor is his home in DC. Buffalo takes DARRELLE REVIS.
  19. Interesting and I won't flame b/c something will need to be done differently to stay competitive. I think some of these ideas are workable solutions and I think it would be real interesting to build a new stadium very close to Niagara Falls. Think of the non-traditional customers that would go to a game from a far because they could incorporate a visit to the beautiful falls. Hey, I know it may sound stupid but really perceptions nationally and locally are key and TV shots of bery nearby falls during/leading up to the game would help market the games as tourist events. Possibilities...
  20. I had a lively arm and very good hands so I'd say 3rd QB and back-up WR at 6' 0', 194 lbs.
  21. I am not saying don't pick up Booker in the 3rd or 4th but get Lynch at 12 if there, if not then Booker may be a very good option. Think Warrick Dunn or Marshall Faulk? Think Leon Washington or Lawrence Maroney? Can't see the future of course but I think that is what we are talking about...
