I didn't hear the interview, but by the above account two teams contacted him and "one of them is not the Bills".
Marv's comments eliminate "one" of those teams from being the Bills; that does not exclude the "other" team from being the Bills. No?
Mike William's NFL history is likely to look a lot different than his history with the Bills. He's at a position where players 10 years his senior are regularly the most effective in the league, and after only 4 seasons he's relatively young for an OT as far as the NFL is concerned.
While his tenure will rightfully end with us since his contract is unsupportable based upon his lack of contribution to date, he's as likely to go on to another team and have a productive career as he is to be written off as a guy who couldn't cut it.
I recall the Jets hiring a full-time clock specialist in 2004, I suspect other teams emply someone in this capacity just as some teams have specialists on their gameday staff to advise on replay requests.
Must be quite stimulating for you on Sundays, sharing with all the other Pat's fans how you've spent countless hours the past week on a Buffalo Bill's Message Board. I'll bet you're a real popular guy ;-)
We're trying to keep this a Troll-Free thread; get back to us with the name of one single known Bill's fan has been at any game or broadcast of a Bill's game with you who will vouch for you being anything other than the Patsy Trollscum you are.
Resigning Edwards will in not even a minimal way change the fact that we've got some serious needs to address at DT.
Anderson has gotten quality playing time this season and has improved throughout the year. Another off-season weight program should go far in turning him into a major contributor in a rotation of DTs next year, assuming we bring in outside help.
Share with us Troll- name a single known Bill's fan from this board who has ever been at a game or bar where you were cheering for the Bills?
Now the silence, because you can't produce what doesn't exist ;-)
Let's see- 7000 posts, nearly all pissing in Bill's fans mouths in one way or another. Chuck Dickerson should be such a pessimistic.
No Bill's fan has stepped up to say they've ever seen him at a game, in a sports bar, etc.
How about the little lady sits too long in the cellar bar last night drinking Maker's Mark and in the morning I comment that she did me a favor moving to the second floor before I eventually had to carry her to bed.
I'll never get this political correctness thing under control?
And BTW, tell Tim Gardner kickoff in Meadowbrook Court is at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow- and make sure to wear something waterproof ;-)
I'd bet you're absolutely right- measure the ever-inconsistent Mr. Moulds by what the balance of the league's GMs think about his value once he's released this off-season. If he gets a contract for half of what he's scheduled to receive under his current contract I'll be among the "surprised".
In the playoffs you should expect to face teams with decent records.
BTW- my Christmas tree is 40 foot tall and Sheri has decided my dressing it with lights qualifies me for something or other- I figure I'll make the spectacle as long as possible before the ACLU gets Christmas trees banned completely ;-)
My view is that the Dolphin team that went 14-0 against a historically pathetic opponent strength is far from the best of championship teams in the league's history, and all of those "best" teams lost games. IMO the advantage is in eliminating any pressure on their staff to play guys with minor dings or more importantly the difficult to replace.
It might be fair to argue that they're as intimidating a team entering the playoffs with backups closing out the season with wins than they would be with the starters being on the field every game and undefeated.
One difference between you and I is that I'm a Bill's fan- and you're not!
There must be some psychological profile of losers who spend as much time as you do simply trying to interfere in some way with the interests of others that you don't share.
