Democrat Convention 2024 (Chicago)
Orlando Buffalo replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I do agree that no one will cry for her, she says things for reactions that are better left unsaid. She is trying to get back in the spotlight and will do anything for it. I can't remember the last time I read one of her articles. -
Democrat Convention 2024 (Chicago)
Orlando Buffalo replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I assume your trying to state that winning elections is an accomplishment, and I can see how you believe that without putting you down, but I don't find those that impressive. What accomplishments does she have as far as what good her policy has done? Our border is in shambles, the world has several hot wars where none existed, major cities have more crime than ever before, where is her accomplishments? -
Recession is upon us - disastrous economic data
Orlando Buffalo replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You must think that declaring bankruptcy is a sign of being loaded also. I want to know where the balance is to the Orlando area, where has inflation been mild to contract my area? Rents are almost double for same size, food is at least 50% and eating out is almost that much more. Where is rent less than a 20% increase? -

Can anyone explain where anyone with any iota of power is promoting making gay marriage illegal in the US? -
I generally agree with you but this is very short sighted. We know what we have in Josh and therefore just need to have to make matchup issues for any defense. Detroit used to need Megatron because the QB was bad but Josh will throw for 4000 yards with 4 good receivers as well as 1 stud and 4 hanger ons. Alpha's All-22 review pre-season game 2
Orlando Buffalo replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the All 22 did the two Steelers QBs look even worse than Trubisky? I would state Trubisky was a 3/10 but the Steelers QBs both looked to be 2/10 or worse -
Do you support tax on unrealized gains?
Orlando Buffalo replied to phypon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Any tax on unrealized gains is so ridiculous it is hard to see how anyone who has ever made money through any investment could agree with it. It literally would make it so that you have to hope your investments don't ever take off too quickly. The biggest issue is what happens if the stock spikes and drops quickly like GameStop then depending on timing of spike and drop you could responsible for tax payment without any money left to pay it. -

Just did the DNA test this summer and I am 98% on nationality, beyond either of my parents on that nationality. I am as pure a blood of anything and I am 100% an American, not what my blood says. Your obsession with skin color would be fascinating if you weren't about to vote for a women because of her races despite having no accomplishments -
Democrat Convention 2024 (Chicago)

In order of questions: I thought Michelle was gonna be the figure head. She was gonna let Barack really be president, and if she was anointed this week then she would only have to deal with a campaign for a few months, which I thought she would do. Kamala was polling at 1% in 2020 and mid 20s until the middle of the this year. She has no accomplishments to tout and is literally running on the idea of all the things she will fix as if she is not the incumbent. I figured more people would be pissed that the Dems simply threw out all of their votes in the primaries but I was clearly wrong. -

Orlando Buffalo replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I am truly shocked at the number of people, if polls are at all accurate, who switched their beliefs on Kamala based on the media telling them they should. I thought it would be Michelle once they were clearly going to end Joes run because she could have been designated as the Savior, who knew the lady in charge of everything could be presented the same way? -
Where "Follow The Science (TM)" has LEFT us..
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I never claimed that, you stated that you had a study that proved it. You lied. Are you admitting to being an antisemite? This is absolutely what you do repeatedly here. -

The vaccine is supposed to be effective for 6 months according to Moderna and Pfizer, your study was limited to the most effective time frame of the shot and think I dont understand how studies work. -

Tim Walz Was A Great Pick Thread

You need to do some research before posting comments like " has Trump ever made fun of himself". Dude had a roast on CC and has hosted SNL and done skits mocking himself. -
Where "Follow The Science (TM)" has LEFT us..
Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You love to lie about what I say, I said you have no long term studies and you presented a 6 month study with 400 people and presented it as settled science of long term "settle science". But as you said I don't have any long term studies because we don't have enough time for an actual long term study to exist. -

Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You should speak with scraps because he told me it is already settled science. I appreciate you now admitting it is a work in progress 3 years after I was assured it was 100% settled. -

You are speaking as if we have actual long term studies. I don't know what minor benefits the MRNA might provide, most likely it will be similar to the flu shot, get it yearly and it will improve your resistance, my point is we don't know and you pretending we do know let's me know you are truly gullible if you think one 6 month study with less than 400 people is enough to prove long-term effects Are you speaking of yourself? I have not had to walk back anything from COVID since I always said let people choose there own path. Your side is the one who pushed "100% protection" which sounded too good to be true, then and now we know was not science but politics. -

Orlando Buffalo replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Wow you catch on quick that any medicine less than 5 years old can't have a long term study. To answer the rest of the question MRNA works differently than old school vaccines, old school vaccines show your body what to fight and you body learns to fight it, MRNA only produces the desired response, in the long term we don't know if it helps your body recognize the virus which is a key component of fighting illnesses. Any assumptions about what happens in 5 years is without evidence, just like all the headlines 3 years ago that said the vaccine was 100% effective, more time.is needed. -

6 months is not long term, not sure if you were missed or somehow thing 6 months is a true long term study. Cohort Design We collected 342 longitudinal samples from 61 individuals receiving either the Pfizer BNT162b2 or Moderna mRNA-1273 SARS-CoV-2 vaccines at 6 timepoints (figure 1A), ranging from pre-vaccination baseline to 6 months post-vaccination.
