  1. I do understand what the cap hit looks like and I expect him to get all his money if not traded, but it will not be the devastating gut punch I had feared originally if he plays like Marcell Dareus from now on, MD after his big contract.
  2. Which is my point, that the headline looks far worse than the actual contract. The first headline said 45 guaranteed, so I don't where difference is but contract looks much better now than day it happened
  3. Two states run by Dems, so I can see how you would believe that they are liars.
  4. This is the point that many of us missed despite knowing the way NFL contracts work, that even the 45 million guaranteed is not as bad as it looks.
  5. The lady accusing DeSantis of cooking the books, the person you are quoting.
  6. You still believe Rebekah Jones huh? But the "miscalculation" will be everyone leaving the blue states. That is the change over the next year that will change all the close races and I recognize that most of the changes will not be good for Republicans
  7. Imagine being a person who sees a gas stove and thinks they need government to outlaw it in order not to be hurt by it. Simply don't buy one for your home, problem solved.
  8. I work summer school, no days off. I though did not realize it was a federal holiday.
  9. Clearly the MSM- did you know winning the Stanley Cup means more if you are of native heritage? It is not like they will be the first or anything but it still makes it more special than anyone else, ya know, because. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/37807019/brandon-montour-zach-whitecloud-indigenous-players-stanley-cup
  10. Please stop pretending you worked in the medical field. A comment like this can not come from someone who understands how death rates work, but let me ask you howany of those kids would have been saved by vaccine?
  11. As I stated if you still believe that these shots are a good idea for healthy kids I can't help you. As I stated since 2021 the evidence has all pointed to the fact that without other issues COVID is like a cold or flu for 99.99999% of kids. As for who has died from Vax, how could I prove it? There has certainly been an increase in heart related illnesses for young people but that could be from a lot of factors, especially coming out of lockdowns.
  12. Honestly if you want to find it we had a long thread about it in 2021 here where I had a long merry go round with a couple of guys, but if at this point you still believe that healthy people under 30 were helped by the vaccine I can't help you. Find any study that makes a prediction on lives saved under 30.
  13. This is where being a math teacher my background helps me more than yours. Statistically speaking the amount of people under 50 without at least two comorbidities were getting severely ill was always at such a low number that in order to find a definite improvement in the numbers that it would takes a minimum of 4-5 years to determine if the vaccines were even helping 40 year olds, much less a 20 year old. Truly your argument is that my child should take an experimental serum that has no long term study so you can feel better at night with no benefit to him likely.
  14. So a lie is ok so long as someone might benefit? He was wrong based on a presumption that ended up being 100% wrong. Being anti science is no more correct during a pandemic than any other time. We knew in early 2020 that COVID was deadly to those who fulfilled several categories, in order, age, weight, lung and cardiovascular health. By 2021 no one thought the kids should have the shots for themselves but to help older people, so tell me again how my kids getting the shot was a good idea for my kids?
  15. Do you mean the fact that my children's pediatrician told me that not getting my healthy children vaccinated was dangerous to them? Or do you mean something that is less obviously malarkey now two years since it happened.
  16. Teaching children how to do simple mental math is good and this question is not presented without an initial lesson. The teacher might not be able to do the math properly, which is a different issue, but right now I have kids who can't add 9 +6 without a calculator and this would help.
  17. You made a claim that I showed was false and now you moved the goalposts. That being said I am ignoring Bud Light because I literally do not drink it even when free, I object to Target having tucking swimwear, and that is a true boycott from my wife that I fully support.
  18. Are you claiming that Labatts was marketing directly to Trans people 20 years ago? I would love to see it. If you mean they simply did a gay friendly then you are proving my point
  19. Wow it is almost like conservatives don't care about the gay and lesbian part but find it insulting when you lie about men being women, of course if that is true then liberals have once again been wrong about the situation.
  20. I can't confirm this as much as I like, but is this article accurate? If true this is what does guns have to do with anything.
  21. Well you went to a tiktoker to prove your point, so how am I supposed to respond? I will try and find a proper dance video to show you how wrong you are.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandan_Robertson
  22. What a vapid difference, I have not voted for a candidate based on his religion ever, and most people do not, they base it on how he will try and run the country. But as I am a Catholic, who has done more for the pro life movement, Trump or Biden?
  23. Why does Trump have anything to do with religion? Biden claims to follow the same faith I do but acts opposite it primarily. The only thing I see similar between Trump and Jesus is that politicians lie about them all the time.
  24. This is a point that is often lost, you don't have believe in an organized religion to understand God and Jesus, sometimes the religion actually makes it more difficult
  25. Since I am certain there are more guns in my town than households and we have had zero violent attacks in 20 years I will state unequivocally that access to guns is not the biggest issue for violent crime, fix that issue and criminals will figure out another way. Secondly if you mean crime seems to happen where people are densely packed, I agree. But why is Hinsdale and Naperville not nearly as affected by these problems? I assume they are still as nice as 2010, it has been a while since I visited
