Honestly nothing is "surprising" in that too much information is contradictory that I have read, I just got it from in my opinion a better source. The only "new" part was we are planning to stick it out until Putin is removed.

Had family in town this week and Ukraine came up and I was made aware of a few things that made me feel better, some fact some opinion. The facts are that most of the equipment we have sent were basically mothballed materials that we would not have used unless we were desperate. We also are not prepping any large military groups to go, possibly smaller groups but nothing large will ever go that way. The opinion/rumor part is that the US is supporting the Ukraine until Putin is removed and will not leave until that goal is accomplished. The complete speculation rumor is that China is wavering in their support of Russia and might start taking parts of Russia if they feel they want the territory.

The man tried to kidnap a child and the NYC community allowed him to continue being free, that is not society, that is NYC. The best help for homelessness is to force the people to accept help, arresting them repeatedly is not good for the them or the community unless you are putting them into a program.

Are you a time traveler for 1980 with no clue of what has happened since 1990? The average age in Orange County Florida is 35 while Erie County is 40. We have a decent amount of old people but far more young people than Buffalo and the ones moving are largely working age.

The major cost of the star wars hotel was the human characters and in order to cut the cost to a level that people would show up there would be no profit with the man power cost. The hotel itself is apparently on par with some of the budget hotels, without a pool, so the repurpose will be difficult. Basically Chapek was about as wrong as possible on this one.

It is always good to know you suck at math also. The scope of the project was never a billion and the jobs being cut are not "staying" in California, they are simply being cut. Basically Disney is using DeSantis to not pay the cost of the cut jobs in California. I will point out that in February I mentioned that Disney might be doing this relocation in order to deal with the California laws, which this gives them great cover. They "transferred" the jobs but now the jobs are gone for liberal reasons, no pay needed.

As I said before the fact that you are ok with promoting porn for children is something I disagree with vehemently. There is nothing I find more important than protecting my children from those who would abuse them, which is something I understand more and more is not universal. The only reason that I believe conservatives have a chance this cycle is that they can always fall back on the fact that liberals counties have a murder rate almost 10-1 that conservative counties and murder is becoming a much bigger issue than in 2016.

I think just as with any job where you work with a captive audience there is certainly an element of that for some of my coworkers, especially the ones who are losers otherwise in life. Overall it is not many but one at the elementary level can cause a lot of issues quickly.

You are pathetically gullible. We have an entire semester class in high school on the Holocaust which has been spread to every high school in the past 4 years, previously schools could choose if they even offered it.

I will point this out- we have two weeks of school left and watching movies is not appropriate at this time in my opinion. I also know that movies need to be cleared by the county and Disney does not allow that clearance at least in OCPS.

I wish this was not so spot on but I have 40 students who have 25+ absences. Kids who have C average are told they can have a "mental health" day 2 times a month but parents believe they can compete with my kid who has missed 25 days in grades 6-12 combined. Honestly the worst part to me is the kids are blind sided when none of the good schools want anything to do with them, because their parents told them they were special when they are performing at an average level
