I have noticed something odd over the past few years with my students, and even my son to a lesser extent. They are getting better at seeing obvious lies from politicians but they often immediately go to the thought that the opposite must be true, a very binary thought process. One of the topics that has come up is Ukraine, which since each side lies so much the kids argue by just pointing out each lie. I have had to shut it down several times and keep trying to get kids to see more nuance.

The second comic should tell you how much the left is considered liars, I do trust Trump more than the Big Guy, or Kamala but I certainly don't want him as my first choice.

Josh peaked in the playoffs in 2021, all but impossible to be better than that. He will never have that perfect season but I hope these last 6 games he goes back to the situation where he is the best player on the field each week.

For a news source to survive today this appears to be needed. CNN actually tried to become a true news source a few years ago and their ratings tanked horribly. They have returned to their old ways but have yet to recover.

The crash in NF is one of the big problems with media today, in a rush to be first, CNN, NBC, Fox, and ABC all have different "facts" of what happened and all contradict each other. 3 of them at least are lying if not all 4. My next door teacher is from Syria and his parents were Muslim, he is not currently practicing. He told me the coverage of Israel and Hamas is insane, that Hamas is evil and that the paradigm needs to be to save women and children in Palestine but the idea in the validity of the Hamas needs to end.
