  1. Pretty clear? The guy hasn't really gotten much of a chance, actually. He only got a two-day workout with a team that already has like 6 QBs signed. I am not going to organize a pitty brigade for the man, but I wonder if people are selling him short a little prematurely. I think it would be smart, if he cares about getting to the NFL eventually, to try the CFL or AFL and prove his mettle there.
  2. There are qualifications for those jobs?
  3. Maybe the Edmonton Eskimos are interested in a QB...
  4. Last I heard, New York as a state, had well-surpassed the tax burden in Massachusetts. Of course, a lot of Massachusettsians are still moving to New Hampshire to escape taxes. Then, while they are there, they suddenly want extra services that NH doesn't offer so they support politicians who raise taxes and that former libertarian utopia continues its slow death.
  5. What are you wearing?
  6. I think this was during that awkward time between when I was on HyperBills and I was regularly on here.
  7. Well, you could say that an alternative reading of the current name certainly addresses a motivation for leaving Western NY.
  8. It was a very dark blue/black. After a lot of tests, they determined it was caused by some blood circulation build-up down there. It has been fine ever since.
  9. The Buffalo Bills is one of the most creative team names in sports. Very few team names incorporate the city name. Unless you count the Los Angeles Angels of Southern California at Anaheim, but there they actually are the The Angels Angles if translated literally.
  10. My boys once turned black. Turned out it was nothing to worry about, but it was rather scary. I was 18 at the time.
  11. I think the Wonderlic is a rather dubious measure that is just another unproven predictor that scouts irrationally love. I don't think that standardized tests are evil (since I usually have been able to rely on stronger performance there to overcome poorer performance in the classroom) but the Wonderlic seems a rather unproven test of intelligence. I don't think Roscoe is brilliant, but I think we too quickly judge someone's intelligence based on how well he speaks especially when a lot of how one speak comes from regional and cultural affectations. For example, there is this widely held prejudice in the NorthEast and West Coast that any one with a southern accent is stupid. We did not leave the accents=social class issue when we left mother England.
  12. This show has a number of flaws, but the whole bathroom thing doesn't make sense since there are multiple story lines going on at once and since time continues to run during commercial breaks.
  13. It sounded like he was nervous and he just mumbles or something. I think it is unwise to judge someone's intelligence based on his public speaking skills. I have met some of the most brilliant people who struggle when they are forced to speak to a large audience or to someone who intimidates them.
  14. I heard he got a 170 on his LSATs.
  15. Unfortunately, there is little competition for ESPN on TV. It would be nice to have a highlight show that actually focused on showing highlights.
  16. It seems like more and more stuff on ESPN.com that I want to read is now part of insider. Does anyone who have it or have tried it want to comment on its value? I would appreciate it...
  17. It's actually a sexual act involving the crust on a male's genitalia and his tuckus.
  18. Having seen all of the episodes but I really love the show. I agree that I wish that they would show more of the fight on the show, there is a bit of slow bits that they currently include that sort of drag. The fight is the best part. Also, since I missed some middle episdoes, I have a question... Who is that weird big guy who is always giving unwanted advice to the other fights. He was in the losing corner in the last episode.
  19. At least he has a giant heart.
  20. Idaho= most underrated state ever.
  21. I thought it was pretty well-accepted that Rodgers fell due to a combination of many teams not needing a QB and the whole Ron Tedford curse thing. I don't think it was just being caused by teams not needing a QB. The Cardinals , the Bucs and the Dolphins, for example, would not have been criticized for drafting a QB early in the first round.

  23. TD infiltrated the Stadium Wall and caused this very thread to last much, much longer than it should have.
  24. We need a form letter for these posts.
  25. Shane Matthews has got to get his head on straight and make up his mind.
