I was watching STILL STANDING the other night (Jamie Gertz - nice rack!) and noticed a funny message written on the family's write on/wipe off board on the fridge. I couldn't make out the top line of what what written, but the second line clearly said MEAT CURTAINS. I paused my Tivo and walked over to the TV and it was plain as day. My wife didn't understand why I was laughing about it. She still doesn't get it! Is there another meaning for meat curtains other than using it as a euphemism for female body parts? I think someone from the crew wrote it there and then forgot to erase it prior to taping. Anyone else notice that?

I got chills watching that. I get chills when I watch a championship celebration because I know how hard it can be to win any kind of championship. Great stuff!

Don't forget Bells and Loblaws!

Other than Kelly, Was Any Bills Player.....
BuffalOhio replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I lived in Cleveland when that happened. Danny Boy was dropping back and that painted dirt slipped out from under him just as he planted to throw. His foot slipped too far back and pop when the achilles. I think I was happy about it, too, but only for the assistance his injury would give to the Bills. -
Can anybody tell me why we sign guys from Northeastern as UDFA's, and we haven't signed Michael Munoz, starting LT from Tennessee? The kid's got a pedigree, and as far as I can tell, he's a pretty good player. Why wasn't he drafted? Why haven't the Bills looked at him? I have the same questions about Simon Fraser, DE from Ohio State. These are two pretty good players, and neither was drafted. Anyone know why?

I don't know about BANNED, but she should be taught some very stern lessons......

Sounds like a terminal case of sucktosis.

I'm a Chief Warrant Officer in the Coast Guard. I work in network operations. I have to check to make sure our Internet connection stays up. Also, I've been in for almost 22 years, so I do pretty much what I want to do.

Most important question - where are you going to work? If you know that, tell us. We'll tell you where to live and where to avoid. Avoid the long commute. It will kill you.

Where do you have to see a game before you die?

I'd like to get to Fenway one day. I drove around Wrigley field once. Best Stadiums I've been in: ========================== The Ralph. Hey - it's my team! HSBC Arena - Hey - it's my team! Jacob's Field - Hey - it's my team! The Aud - upper golds. I was in the upper golds when Brad May scored on May Day. We went wild that night! Tiger Stadium - that place just exuded baseball. You could just feel it. Ohio Stadium - I've been to 7 OSU football games. Electric, rocking atmosphere. Joe Louis Arena - great atmosphere for a Red Wings game. Walking past Anna Kournikova in a leather mini skirt didn't hurt, either! Maple Leaf Gardens - Saw the Sabres play the Leafs there once. 4-4 tie, but Brad May and Rob Ray each destroyed their opponents in their fights, so that was cool. Worst stadiums: ============================= Comiskey Park - the new one. What a dump. Can't believe it was built in the 90's. It might as well have been built in 1970. What a cereal bowl. I waited 4 innings for a friggin' hot dog. Four innings! Pontiac Silverdome - Domed football. Need I say more? Ok - Detroit Lions football. Need I say more? Three Rivers Stadium - try watching a Pirates game from the centerfield bleachers. Hey, I was 12 and my grandpa bought the tickets. Who was I to argue? I also went to Forbes field in Pittsburgh in the late 60's with my folks. I don't remember much, except they had some catwalks there that scared the crap out of me. -
That was an awesome battle!

I spent the fall of 1983 there. 8 wonderful weeks. I had free room and board, and they even gave me new clothes to wear. They also had a great deal of supervised exercise and team building routines. Nice pool, too. The weather was nice, but I didn't get to see much of the area. I liked it enough to take a job with the company that sponsored my visit to Cape May. I've been working for them ever since. 21 years so far. U.S. Coast Guard Boot Camp is held at the Coast Guard Training Center in Cape May, NJ. I was there from September 26th - November 18th, 1983.

I've been in the hospital all week...

Mike, I have two positives for you: 1. You haven't missed any Bills games while you've been in there. Whew! 2. You can finally get those sponge baths that you've been bugging your wife for. C'mon, she's a nurse. You know you've been pestering her for a sponge bath for years, and she won't do it. Now she will. Fantasy completed! Good luck, Mike. At least you're not a Browns fan (we have that same dynamic in my house - husband = Bills fan; wife = Browns fan). -

Every time Edwards was on the field last year, he made things happen. I love big Pat, but they can't break the bank for him. Edwards will be fine, and so will Anderson. -
(OT) Old Classic College Hockey Video...
BuffalOhio replied to Spun's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've seen lots of youth players who can do that stuff, but I've never seen it in a game. I ref ice hockey, and a lot of these kids pick up the puck and hand it to me. I've never been able to do it myself, though! -
NYPD Blue - Tonights the final episode
BuffalOhio replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think I've seen every single episode of NYPD Blue. My wife and I have watched it since it began. What a great show. I'm sad to see it leaving. Hopefully, something else will come along. Sipowicz is the man! -

So #89, you've got a nice rack, eh? -
That kid's a hero to all of his pals, and to me too!!! Problem is, he'll never get a chick as hot as that again, and he'll be messed up for the rest of his life. Well, at least he got it over with early.

I saw that guy on celebrity Jeopardy once. He's the dumbest celebrity I've ever seen. I know a lot of them are brain-dead, but he's the dumbest one that I've noticed. Very embarassing.
