  1. check out crockett gillmore too. didn't know much about him but he killed it all week in practice at the senior bowl and really stood out during the game.
  2. is the video posted online anywhere?
  3. this is almost as fascinating as hernandez.
  4. good teams win championships, regardless of which side of the ball that "good" comes on. putting a touchdown on the board has the same effect on the score differential as keeping a touchdown off the board. what seems more likely to me is that a few years ago, the league got a little offense-obsessed and began to overvalue offensive players and, as a byproduct, undervalue defensive players. the seahawks f.o. saw this and capitalized on it by putting together a defense that was stronger than the offense they could have put together for the same amount of money/draft-picks. that being said, most of their success is a result of the fact that they have done an incredible job scouting tallent and finding 'diamonds in the rough' over the last few years. in a just world, john schneider, the seahawks gm would have won mvp.
  5. moses in the mid-second would be an incredible steal, the dude is a physical freak. this is c.j. spillers dream scenario.
  6. cleveland now regretting not waiting for quinn?
  7. you should be stoked about schwartz then, he is of the same belief as you and practicing fundamental tackling is a huge part of his defensive coaching.
  8. if watkins, matthews, and robinson are gone id be very happy seeing us trade down a few spots and picking up marquise lee or zach martin.
  9. this nice gentleman believes the bills will draft first overall next season: http://walterfootball.com/draft2015charlie.php ... so thats comforting
  10. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=10377627 i thought ej's list of the four quarterback's that he likes to study (wilson, kaepernick, rodgers, and brees) was especially interesting.
  11. Jonathan Martin will not be in a Dolphins uniform next season. Despite his Miami/Incognito baggage, Martin is a talented blocker and could fill a hole on the Bills roster as an undervalued acquisition. Do his pros outweigh his cons?
  12. presser starts and doug marrone is on the podium to introduces schwartz... anyone want to guess what the first word that comes out of his mouth is?
  13. coaches are always very careful when they talk about anything uncertain in their pressers. im guessing that he just doesnt want to talk up a player that hes not sure hes going to be getting yet. if he mentions byrd, the media goes nuts insisting that 1BD is desprate to sign byrd and that hes going to be an essential piece of the schwartz defense - the last thing whaley wants. i wouldnt read to much into it.
  14. i like everything about this except that we don't get Nix pressers anymore, i loved those.

  16. if pet goes -- donnie henderson for DC! all of our dbs seem to love the guy
  17. i think what this really means is that if our defense is top 5 next year, pettine will get a hc job.
  18. watkins or robinson in the first
  19. i thought it'd be a blowout, but the votes are pretty close.
  20. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2014/1/10/5292988/buffalo-bills-among-eight-teams-qualifying-for-hard-knocks
  21. i have dreamed of this often
  22. cyril richardson - one prospect, two men
  23. of course it all depends on who we can pull for a reasonable price in free agency, but i'll take a crack at this one. from what i understand this is a weak draft class for linebackers, so id like to see 1BD fill our need for a run-stopping LB to pair with Kiko in FA. if we can do that and retain Byrd... Round 1: (assuming Mathews, Clowney, Barr, and Manziel are off the board) WR: Watkins or Lee OT: Erving or Lewan Round 2: (assuming Ebron and Amaro are off the board) LG: Richardson TE: Seferian-Jenkins dreaming big... if we can plug our need at OT with a big name FA like Veldheer, Monroe, Albert, or Strief, it would gives us a ton of flexibility in the draft; id go nuts if our FO used some cap-space to match up one of these guys with Glenn and give us a respectable set of bookend tackles.
  24. but i want it now!
