    But what about the cap space? We have people to sign next year and Whaley is totally unaware that there is a salary cap.

    But he was really horrible during preseason, hardly enough time for Marrone to have such a negative effect on him. He was one of the worst lineman i've ever seen. He needs to improve an awful lot to make the team.

    Exactly. He was a monster this year. It's not like teams ignored him because of the other players. Maybe the rest of the line had career years in part because of how well Hughes played.

    Someone who understands the cap as well as you think you do? We have a lot of cap room right now. You could complain if we have to cut good players to get under the cap but the fact that we are able to take on the contract of an elite RB is a good thing. Yes?

    everyone is so worried about the cap. Ours and now the Jets. I really think the teams are a little more aware of the cap situation then we are.

    or he is a good player that will help his new team. And there are other teams with quality players around. Like all those teams that made the playoffs.

    I'm a little concerned, but will wait til things happen. But if we lose Spikes, Hughes and Searcy, 3 of 11 starters, that's a legitimate concern. Not terribly difficult to address, but still not the best scenario. Kiko isn't a loss. When he played , run defense not so hot.

    Sounds very similar to the Byrd negotiations - Bills make a fair offer knowing others will overpay.

    Henderson is not our biggest problem, but he is one of them. Our line is not in good shape unless Glenn comes back to form, Wood comes back to form, Icognito plays well and Henderson makes a big improvment

    I think he is showing some signs, the problem with most running backs though , is that sometimes there is a pretty sudden drop off. It could happen this summer. This will likely be his last season. But he is special, I wouldn't count him out.

    Maybe the Bills think he is better then other FA's out there? And it's no guarantee that you will sign the FA you want.

    Let's assume the Bills try this strategy - what happens if some other team drafts Gurley before the Bills do, you do know that might happen, you don't get to draft whatever player you want. There is a draft order.... We have well over 20 million to spend on the line. They will probably only sign one high priced lineman.

    do you mean the fans that think he is on the decline and not worth the money of his contract? He will like playing where he is paid well and if the team performs well.

    I think our offense was worse in 2014 than 2013, our defense was much better in 2014. Still can't blame all the run game shortcomings on the offense. I don't dislike Kiko, just didn't get into the infatuation that many did. It kind of blinds people to the reality.

    DPOY - Defensive player of the year? In what universe was that? Yes, we agree his play tailed off, that's a negative, not a positive. And he hasn't come back from his 2nd ACL tear , yet. Got anything else?
