Kiko never had a role in the defense to fill, or if he did it was already filled. Wasn't part of it's success last year and wasn't part of it's future. It'll be as if he never existed.

If you consider his good years lucky, you may be right. Why was it lucky? Because he had a good team around him? He will have a good team around him this coming season so hopefully he will be 'lucky' again. He also had a very strong season in KC - but that may have been lucky too. Or his bad seasons were unlucky. Glass half full or empty?

When assessing the team right now, let's look at the ownership. With all due respect to Ralph, may he rest in peace. He was slipping. Would he have shelled out all this bonus money for restructuring? This is a key in being able to retain and add top flight talent. From the roster to the coaching staff up to ownership, the team is light years ahead of last season. And it only gets better going forward. They aren't going to stop trying to improve this team. Can't wait for training camp.

Yes, occasionally a team has to blow things up. Last year the saints went all in to win the super bowl and fell far short and need to start over. I think they knew what they were doing. They were at the cap last year when they signed bryd. They had to see this coming but they thought they had a shot at winning it all last year. They were wrong and are now paying the price. Has nothing in common with what the Bills are doing.

Think we need a tackle as much or more than a guard. Can't have Henderson starting again.

Henderson's best chance on this team would be the swing tackle position now that Hairston is gone. Henderson wasn't good enough last year to be expected to start again this year. Kujo will be lucky to make the team this year. Henderson is not a good option unless he's made great strides since last season. I don't think the Bills would count on either one of these players.

We as fans have no idea what the team is planning for now and in the future. Some fans, maybe not you, seem to think they either know more, or are more concerned about the cap implications of the contract signed then the team is. We addressed 3 areas of need in RB, QB and OG and still have $20M or so available in cap space and we haven't had to release anyone yet. I think we all understand that the cap is an 'issue' in the fact that it exists. It just seems to me, and I'm not alone here, that it's a exercise in wasted space to write about worries regarding the cap each time we sign someone, implying that the team may not be aware of what they are getting into.

It's an 'issue' because it's something every team has to deal with. Not because a bunch of old ladies need something to piss and moan about. Thinking they know more about the cap situation then the team does.

We've just given up on you people. Go cry yourselves to sleep every night worrying about the cap if you want.

Would probably need to do more. Would expect some improvement at QB so money would be needed for that. They will always release veterans. Graham, McKelvin, Wood , FJax , maybe even Kyle Williams soon. Plus cap always goes up.

the signing bonuses usually have to do with owners money, but regarding the cap- as many have mentioned before. I think the teams are aware of their cap situation better than we fans are. I wouldn't waste too much time thinking about it.
