Lamar stats are crazy and he beat Josh head to head. He has played really well. But Josh is the “most valuable” and anyone who has watched a bills game this year knows that. And the media are a bunch of Lamar apologists no matter what. I would laugh if lamar won mvp and lost in the wild card bc he didn’t have his WR1.

Well I haven’t heard Christian Benfords name once this week but if I had a nickel for every time I heard “pat surtain” I could retire tomorrow. sean will never get COY bc of 17 though

Yeah usually it’s pretty clear who the MVP is. It’s so close this year and stats don’t tell the whole story. Certainly I could see either being deserving but only one can get it. I do think some people are smart enough to know that if Josh had played as much as Lamar his stats would be even better and the only reason he didn’t is because he was so good he put his team in a position where he could sit out the end of a few games. Also he had mvp moments vs the best teams. He meets the eye test plus I think will benefit from Lamar winning last year and the fact he lost his #1 WR and had a pretty low ranked defense. It’s a good debate but I could see him winning mvp despite not being 1st team all pro.

I can’t wait until he’s just finally irrelevant. Dude hasn’t played like a franchise QB in like half a decade.

Our local station was previewing the nfl games and said Sean McDermott is the Ryan day of the NFL bc he usually has a massive talent advantage and wins a lot of games but can’t win in crunch time despite his talent advantage. I started thinking - when has he had a massive talent advantage? Outside of Allen, but what a dumb comparison. No 1st team all pros and one 2nd team.

What’s the word with Julian Fleming. He was the #1 overall WR recruit in his class. I saw he was playing last night but was only half watching the game and fell asleep ngl. Did he do anything this year? Did not notice if he was playing when you guys played Ohio State.

And the opposing defense acts like they’ve never seen a football. Could happen tonight… is it Arch time?? I think he will play some of the game.

He had a neck injury but could have rehabbed and returned; at the same time his wife had breast cancer and they had 4 young children and he chose to be with them instead. Her name is on the breast cancer hospital here at Ohio state.

All went to John Carroll (plus Greg Roman) except for daboll. None are GMs anymore but Polian and Caldwell are in front offices. Caldwell in Philly and Polian in Cleveland. Telesco will land somewhere too. And probably will be a GM again. He had a really good draft and the timing didn’t really line up with Brady coming in and wanting to hire a HC and GM in tandem. Plus Telescos history of hiring HCs is bad.

Downs is such a man amongst boys. They have been casually lining up at MLB sometimes. He returns punts too.I think they’ve realized throughout the season they have these “dudes” that are elite of the elite and just better than most college guys they are playing in terms of talent and football IQ, and that’s him and #4. So they are utilizing them as much as possible now that the goal is so close.

We’ve been hearing all about the “storm” bc Buckeye fans are headed down there for the cotton bowl tomorrow night. People wondering if it will impact how many go down there. While it’s nothing like Buffalo, we’ve had 10 inches of snow in cbus with wind and temps in the teens for about a week so not deterring anyone here.
