  1. Goodell could have already settled for 8 games but didn’t . The report was he wouldn’t go below 12 and they wouldn’t go above 8. So much for that sweet structure of the browns contract ie the only reason he went there
  2. Agree because the findings of her decisions are not being appealed and can’t be appealed. She found him guilty of 3 infractions under the conduct policy. Those are binding. She recommended a Penalty - The NFL is appealing the length of the PENALTY. Had she NOT found infractions, The NFL could not have appealed at all. Why the courts would feel a need to overrule the league is beyond me.
  3. It’s all they have at this point. How about watson actually be held accountable for all this ***** instead of pointing the finger elsewhere? It’s sickening.
  4. I don’t even know what grounds they have to sue? They agreed to the CBA that shows he has the final decision.
  5. Isn’t the Snyder thing still going on? I didn’t think a decision was made on him yet. They did remove an owner not long ago for sexual harassment (in Carolina)
  6. 12 seems to be the number that goodell would not go below in order to settle, and I could be wrong but I thought the nflpa only threatened to sue if they ruled 1 year. So 12 could do it.
  7. It’s so cute how people thought Roger wasn’t going to get what he wanted when the process is literally set up to give him what he wants
  8. Wonder if this happens if Commissioner exempt list comes into play. He does not want him representing the league.
  9. Agreed because his words show he does not understand that what he did was sexual assault or even disrespectful. And showed zero remorse. That is the biggest issue.
  10. On radio they said The statute of limitations on new criminal cases being filed from the civil cases is March 2023. The league is worried that more criminal cases will come up and wants to keep the suspension open since that would mean he could still be charged. There were accusers who lived in other states/counties from the ones that failed to indict.
  11. Maybe but not sure they go through this just for a few extra games
  12. Ed is gonna be $$$$$
  13. It’s a hyperextension
  14. I’m also old - 47- and haven’t dived in. Yet.
  15. Yes that is very interesting.
  16. Good question, they didn’t say in the 2 podcasts I listened to
