Finally! Coach Marrone came out today and said there would be open competition at all positions. While i know this is usually the case for new coaching staffs, I also think this should be the case every year! Every year these players should be told straight forward you are all competing for a job, no one is safe, lets get to it! I can not wait to see who steps up and who REALLY wants to be here.

Kelsay and Mcgee need to go. I wouldn't be upset to see Brad Smith and Anderson go as well. Fitz better take a huge pay cut or buh bye to him as well. Fred Jackson? No way! we need him. He hasn't been very healthy as of late but seriously? we do need some veterans left on this team when all is said and done. Fred should be used in short yardage and goal line situations, as well as blocking. I really think that Fred has a lot to do with how well CJ has come along.(No! i do not mean by getting hurt and giving CJ more playing time)

rg3 and luck......yes they have been sucessful.....but where did mobility land rg3 this year? where do you think defenses are going to land these free running QB's in the NFL? Because mobile QB's are the hot thing right now......doesn't mean it will be that way in a few years. Or even next year. Defenses will figure out how to defend these types of QB's, and then it will be back to the drawing board and the new "it" thing. Kind of like the wildcat? I do agree we need a QB, but i do not agree that we need an RG3 or Luck.......what we need is the type of QB that will be the next "it" type.

I am going to hope that a new DC will use him correctly and he will shine and surprise a lot of people. He is still really young and has a lot to learn. Lets hope this is the regime that can get the most from our young players

Arthur Moats! Yes he is still on the team Am I crazy in thinking that Moats can be sucessful? I do not count his dismal playing time this past year, but If you look back the 2011/2012 season(and maybe I am a little crazy) It seemed to me that he was always in the QB's face.

I seem to find out everything on twitter before it becomes available anywhere else. Once in awhile it is talk, but most of the time it is correct. The sources that are considered reliable?...........They somehow end up with the info as breaking on ESPN hours after it is on twitter. While i do not really believe anything until i see it confirmed by the Bills themselves......I just thought i would point out that a lot of people on TBD seem to despise twitter to no end. However (for the most part) I have found it full of good information. As always anywhere you go, I have also found horrible info and comments

I would be willing to bet they would sign levitre before byrd. There are safeties out there in free agency or we could draft one. pick up some undrafted, or move aaron williams.

Didn't he also mention he played basketball and ran during the offseason? Is that not working out? So he isn't in the gym weight lifting everyday. Now the way he worded some parts of that interview...maybe those could have been said differently, but I think sometimes people forget that tho he is our "veteran" WR he is still young and has some maturing to do. I don't really believe for one minute he isn't giving it all he has got. You don't get to the highest level by half @ssing it. Still not a big fan of Glennon. However if he could add some weight in muscle and not look like a panicing deer in the headlights when the rush comes. He could be an NFL quarterback with that arm strength of his. But those are a lot of ifs! The QB position in the draft this year just seems to be getting more and more confusing. I still really like Dysert if we can land him in fourth or fifth round. If we do select two QB's(wich i hope is the case). I hope to see them select 2 totally different types of QB. One big strong armed as well as one who can move and run when needed. As far as the comments on these guys will be busts wait until next year..........i can see next year at this time the thread that reads.......NIX SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED......insert name.......last year

I would really like the best player available in first rd. QB in second(Not named Glennon), and another QB in later rounds. Wonder if Dysert will slip? He is interesting to me with his size and ability to move. I would also be thrilled to grab Okafor at some point tho DE isn't an immediate need(but hey....can you ever have enough good players?)

No way would i want to give the Jets a 1st round pick for a guy just coming off surgery! Not to mention it gives them 2 top 10 picks and probably costs us more than the 1st rounder plus uses valuable cap space with many other needs to fill
