Well in a perfect world......some team takes the time to realize maybe it is psychological, signs him, and gets him help...................then the world bitches and moans because their team didn't get him. I hate to watch anyone with such talent waste it because they were too stubborn to get help

I voted draft a WR. While I wouldn't be upset if we did get one of these guys in FA(as long as we don't overpay) We still have greater needs. What I would really like to see is us get a CB in free agency. There are a few young decent CB's available. My personal favorite being Smith. I say snag him up if you can. But of course try not to overpay.

that was teir 2 qbs if you go on the site there was also teir one qbs as well as wr's tier 1 and 2. So I am going to go ahead and assume, that because it was posted on buffalorumblings that you hurried thru and skimmed the article and skipped over the end where the link was.

I am ok with it not because i think either of these will be our franchise QB, but because we have to have a QB to play(fact). I hope we end up drafting a QB that can come right out and start......but until that happens.....Do we really have a choice? No! We have to have a QB to play plain and simple. also, if the kid you draft is physically and mentally ready to start......then start him! But not all players are the same....some need time to develop, learn, get used to the workouts, terminology, or whatever else is different in the NFL. No need to be in a hurry to throw them in there have it be a horrible experience and permantly damage what they could have been given time. yes i was ......i dont mind opinions at all. I just prefer that they be worded as such. Not as this is the final word, proven fac,t variety of wording.

My choice( and is all opinion) Is dysert. later rounds. I think he would need to develop, with makes me not overly opposed to TJax and Fitz for a short term answer.

except Marrone is Offensive minded coach is he not? I highly doubt he is going to say ok Hackett draw up all the plays and tell me what we are going to do on offense. I expect him to have a large part in the offensive scheme. Especially knowing Pettine probably doesn't need any help or guidance. Thus the reason he hired a DC with experience.

The are two things being said over and over again in comment sections On various different sites and atleast one on TBD that are driving me bananas. These sites i understand are made for discussing and giving opinions. Many that i agree with, some not so much, and others that made me join because i just had to be able to say something One- please do not use the words there are no good QB's in this years draft or anything to that nature! This is driving me crazy, unless you can see into the future there is truly no way to say that with certainty. Yes, you can make and educated guess. Or it may be your opinion wich is great! You may or may not be correct. But please word it as an opinion and not a matter of fact. The second?(not sure that i have seen this one on TBD yet, but i am sure it will come up). Strength or difficulty of schedule! This is also an argument that drives me crazy. I wish all media would remove this entire conversation out of their shows and columns completely. Once again you can have an opinion or make and educated guess, or even a guess based on statistics. However, those statistics are last years, and in the coming year mean nothing! Teams change year to year, even week to week. Last years bottom dwellers can become this years top seed. Besides it is the NFL. Every team should be difficult to play against anyway! Keep the QB's coming for now. Add 1 or maybe 2 in the draft and then another undrafted or free agent after. We need 90 guys anyway have 5 qb's at the start of camp and then start cutting from there. The more we have the better chance we have of possibly finding who could help us win.

The point of the post wasn't as much what he said as it was that he said it publicly. In three years did Chan say anything to the effect? It just feels like a whole different approach. Maybe Marrone won't be so player friendly,. To see actual competition and guys being forced to fight for their jobs is refreshing to me...assuming that it really happens. Or maybe my eternal optimism is just kicking in again. Who knows? But it is fun to dream that Marrone is going to come in and completely light a fire under our guys

It is good that he did tho......maybe there are some guys that need to hear exactly those words directly from the coach. Just because most of us assumed it would be the case dosen't mean all of the players would take it seriously. So I am glad he came out and said it
