How can you judge something….anything…..as good or bad if you aren’t comparing it to anything at all? Are the Bills drafts horrible because they aren’t as good as the Tampa Bay Rays at finding talent? Because they should have standards for inclusion like MIT? Or does it make sense to compare them to other NFL teams?

No. My defense of the Bills is that the revisionist history about our drafting never gets compared to accurate objective assessments of other franchises.

If the list is so long why are all of the above long retired except for one? You may have also noticed that the Bills are clearly a batter team than your two shining cities on the hill.

You’re right. Most teams turn picks in the 24-28 range into instantaneous superstars. I mean look at KC with HOFers like Clyde Edwards-Helaire. I don’t know what Beane is thinking.

I can get behind a lower pick because of his past profile and the lowered risk. Let’s face it, these highly touted Bama receivers…..and players in general….sometimes hit but most of them bust and Jeudy looks more like a bust at this point…..I wouldn’t say it is 100% decided yet. I guess I’d actually prefer him to Beckham due to cost and Hopkins due to him being toast but Waller went for a third, Gilmore for a 5th.
