The entire NFL draft is being held outside this year in Philly(I am sure the stage & team areas will be covered but open to the fan viewing area). What are they thinking? What if a cold front blows through, and temps are in the 40's with 30MPH winds? From a fan perspective, why not just move the draft around each year, to a dome stadium or a warm weather open stadium, and be done with it. This way, all the fans who want to attend, get their wish, no crappy weather & seating for all.

Unless the former Bills along with McDermott, figured out during dinner how to turn TT into something other than a mediocre QB, who cares.

So as of today, one of our OLB is some guy name Humber, and the other guy is a situational pass rusher who before last season was primarily a ST'er? If this is the case, here's hoping for an OLB in the first, second or third round.

I think attempting to fill the #2 WR spot via the draft, and expect that player to start from day 1 is a risky proposition. Even if they draft Williams or Davis at #10 overall, there is no way to know if they can be make an immediate transition to NFL every down player...and be successful at it. Compounding this potential problem, you have Sammy and a bunch of 3-4-5 WR's. In that scenario, pray that Watkins does not get hurt, or the season goes down the toilet in a hurry...I don't care how good you can run the ball. Unfortunately, I don't know what Plan B would be at this point. Trade?

I was referring to some posts looking at him as our #2 for 17-18. While his KR skills cannot be denied, the rest of his resume, is nothing but ifs and maybes. I'm guessing he is looking for a decent contract, otherwise he'd still be with the Vikings or signed by another team. I agree that I'd have no problem with him as a #4WR/KR on a 1 year deal...just don't want him as a #2 on opening day.

I don't want to hear about potential stats from the games where Watkins isn't healthy...for the second year in a row. That's all crystal ball stuff. Bottom line...last two years combined...88 catches, and 11 games missed due to injuries.

Drafting another receiving threat with a top 10 pick, without a QB who can throw the ball, is a complete waste of a pick. i.e. Sammy Watkins

Without reading the article, let me take a wild guess... 1 - Catch passes 2 - Run good routes 3 - Score TD's 4 - Block 5 - Don't act like an assclown every time you make a 4 yard reception Am I close?

Throughout many threads since F/A opened, I have seen many posters wanting Patterson. Not sure why, he is a KR, and the occasional gadget guy. Not much more. Why would the Vikings move on from him. I will never forget watching a combine drill of him where the WR runs from sideline to sideline with footballs being alternately thrown from each direction. I think he dropped like 75% of them. Think Heyward-Bey. I agree the Bills still need to find their #2 WR, but it isn't Patterson.

If the Bills view themselves as being good enough to battle for a playoff spot, there is no way they go into the season with Cardale as their #2, when their #1 is running around recklessly looking to get snapped in half. They will probably look at any number of experienced guys who could step in for a game or two if needed.

A continued commitment to a guy who after several years as an NFL backup, showed no noticeable improvement from his 1st year as a starter to his 2nd? Just say hello to more mediocrity from OBD. Combine that with a very difficult 2017 schedule, and the Bills could easily be looking at 5-11 or 6-10 next season. I guess as long as the suckers keep ponying up for season tix, no reason to do anything more than just keep treading water.

Any chance that if the Pats win today, Brady and/or Belichick call it a career(more so Brady than Bill)? I would actually root for them to win if I knew that meant the Bills would never have to face them again. Wishful thinking?

Does this mean McDermott doesn't agree that the team needs 27 coaches? Someone needed to step in and tell Rex enough was enough. I think he got as many former cronies on the payroll as possible. It was fun for them while it lasted.

Yep. With the 2017 schedule looking much harder than 2016, and a HUGE question mark at QB, look for the Bills to take a big step backwards this coming season.
