Yeah, it's worth noting that in the Carolina pre-season game thread and after when Darby was brutalized (intentionally, as Rex "threw him to the wolves" in single coverage) most here were viciously attacking him! I was defending his excellent coverage and a few others were agreeing, including "The Dean" as I recall. Kelso on the radio was complimenting him on his coverage in that game, even though a lot of passes were completed on him. Anyway, he is a talented guy and we are lucky to have him!

That's the big question mark. If he is back and playing well, that game could easily be a loss. But I still put it in the "W" category for now. I think Philly will be tough and NE is a loss. The problem is that we have been very inconsistent and I'm not sure we are good enough to win all the games "we are supposed to win" so I expect a painful loss or 2 no one is counting on. Our ability to win games we should win will decide the season.

I would certainly hope they intend to keep the 2 corners together! If that isn't a priority, what is? I also agree with Yolo that Bradham's stock is dropping, and fast!

Yes he mentioned all this (quickly) in the post game PC last night. He was quite clear that EJ is the backup of this team and will resume that role moving forward.

Whatever small advantage is gained by extra preparation time will unfortunately be negated by Tom Brady and Bill B. Hopefully Rex is half as good as his reputation suggests and he can devise a plan stopping Tom from eating us for dinner. I'm not hopeful.

I expect us to be out-classed and humiliated on a national stage. Realistic hopes are no injuries, keeping the score somewhat reasonably close, and living to fight another day against opponents we can actually beat.
