This will never happen…but out of curiosity, I’d love to hear what people think: Since defensive pass interference and defensive holding result in an automatic first down, it only make sense to me that a similar offensive foul should result in a loss of down. Again, I know the pass happy and offense friendly NFL would never go for this, but doesn’t that seem to make sense?

Apparently Cody Ford (remember him?) was activated from IR before today’s game. He is active and dressed but I haven’t seen him in action yet….albeit I haven’t looked that hard. Curious to see what they can get out of him.

I hope they do. We are stellar up front. I don’t see any team being able to consistently hurt us on the ground. Anytime you want to take the ball out of Rodgers hands, and avoid any bogus downfield flags, I’m all for it. The Bills are currently #1 overall in rush yards allowed per game (76.2). They also have seen on average the fewest rush attempts per game. They are #2 overall at yards per carry (3.5 ypc). Teams are not trying to run on the bills. And when they do, it doesn’t work.

Now I feel like when a QB wrapped up, the defenders stop playing, because refs are blowing it dead and they don’t want the penalties…. ….but then you allow it to continue on so a QB can just dump it away when he is clearly sacked and the defender has all but stopped? just another way the game makes playing defense impossible
