This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had

They had 4 sacks and 11 QB hits. If you want to blame the DL for them converting on 3rd/4th and longs and ignore that guys on the back end weren’t making plays, that’s fine by me. Half of those were spray and prays to the arguably best WR in football vs. our JV DBs. Again, if you expect a sack on every long down and distrance with this team who consistently brings 4 rushers, you are setting yourself up for disappointment -

They absolutely got pressure last week vs Minny. Im not sure what you’re expecting from them. A sack every play? They were missing a 1st RD DE and still Von, Basham, Oliver all with sacks. Lawson with a pressure that led to a Kirk INT. They steadily only rush 4 and guys are still getting home. -

Any particular games/players you’re referring to? Curious why you’re associating the DTs with the issues in run game. I am also not so sure we ARE getting run on a successfully as many perceive. Remove a few gashes (which are often results of poor run support on the back end) and this team is still very good against the run -

Pretty good, actually. The interior is strong. Oliver, Settle, Jones and Phillips have been stout and disruptive. The edge, when healthy, can be game changing. Vonn and Groot are a great tandem. The issue is behind them, they’ve yet to find a 3rd guy who is consistent and well rounded in what they bring to the field. Epinessa, Shag and Boogie can all make plays. They can all have their lunch eaten, too. When Groot come back, they’ll be a great until once again. They have to be….we’ve only invested a bazillion resources to the room. -
And yet, the offense is completely healthy. I agree we are missing too much, at every level of the defense, to expect to be dominant against the Browns run game. I do think our pass rush can still be effective, and the absence of Justin Jefferson will immediately improve the likelyhood of success on the back end. Unfortunately that means our offense will need to do the heavy lifting on Sunday. And they ain’t exactly humming right now.

Idk how Green Bay wins this game trading 3 points for 6 and the inability to stop Henry.

Is Aaron Rodgers the last player remaining who will ever wear the single buttoned chin strap?

Bills claim AJ Klein off waivers- Kumerow to IR

Considering Edmunds injury and Dodson’s awful half vs Minny….combined with the fact that Bernard is a featherweight, I think Klien plays a role this weekend on early or obvious running downs. He also has some upside as a pass rusher -
Vrabel… Gotta imagine Robert woods in cut this next offseason. He is currently making 10 mil, set to earn up to 13 mil next season and has no dead cap figure. His contract runs through 2025 but for what they use him for, he is way overvalued.

What's up with Diggs and his mouthpiece?

Like those deem hideous chiefs cleats some where. Ban them! Every play?! -
Ugh man, after rewatching the 2nd half of last weeks game, and constantly seeing Dodson steamrolled abd stuck on guards, the Edmunds DNP really bites. Dodson, as althetic as he has shown to be in coverage, doesn’t have it in the run game support IMO. Interesting note on back up LBs from that game…on the first goal line series where CJ Hamm scored, the Bills go 3 LBs with Bernard in the game. Later on during the goal line stand at the end of 4, Matekevitch is out there 🧐

Go rewatch the Vikings game. About 10 of Allen’s completions were quick hitters go guys standing 5 yards off the LOS in quick hitters. Diggs probably had 6-7, Knox over the middle, McKenzie and Shakir on quick outs…..they just can’t all be that easy. Allen played a surprisingly solid game up until the 4th Q and OT. He tried to be the hero at the end, and made a costly physical and mental error. It is entirely plausible in a mirrored situation, he pulls off that throw to Davis, and we are all sitting here talking about how great Allen is.

Is Devin White available?

It’ll be good to get SOME injury information from McDermott today. My biggest question marks for this game are the health of three defensive starters are three different levels of the defense: Groot Edmunds Poyer I won’t even throw white into the mix because the whole situation is way to perplexing and the above three mentioned players are way more crucial to stopping the Browns rushing attack. P.S. Does anyone actually listen to the McDermott pressers, or just look at the injury reports? It is unsurprisingly maddening how he updates the media and fan base IMO

I will be watching. First half tonight. second half tomorrow. The Bills only get so many games. And we only get so many opportunities as fans to see them. I would encourage any fan who likes to discuss the team to rewatch, and pick something to focus on. (OL, Allen, WRs, run game, Edmunds, Miller). Enjoy the show. Form your own opinions. The media has enough garbage for us to sort through, so I hope people take the opportunity to see for themselves areas that were otherwise overlooked, misconstrued, or flat out wrong

Why didn’t they run the ball?

They have to be kidding lol

That is an amazing job by the DL executing a twist while maintaining lane integrity and keeping Hurts in the pocket. Fantastic
