I can go on vacation Granted, I'm limited to the places I'd want to go, but no one is stopping me. It's our local governments which are keeping us from going to their states. Perhaps take it up with them. -
Should absentee ballots be illegal?
IDBillzFan replied to Warren Zevon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'll never understand how the left successfully treats Americans like they're the dumbest people on the planet, and still get these idiots to give them millions of dollars for their campaigns. -

Mix of Indian and Jamaican. More specifically, she's not African American, which is what they're trying to pass her off as. -

You know she's not black, right? -
I'll take 'Things Thinking People Know' for $200, Alex.

I seem to recall reports last year that NY would go after back taxes for certain income levels who showed a change of address to Florida. Here you go.

Imagine city leaders abandoning its people to the extent that they shun the deaths from the most earth-shattering moment on US soil. Imagine the residents needing to pick that flag up because it means so little to the city leaders. It's the purest example of 'you get what you vote for,' but I fear the residents of NYC will just re-elect these city leaders no matter what. I had an employee years ago who referred to herself as a Dead Dog Democrat; she'd vote for a dead dog before she'd ever vote for a Republican. I fear that is what is left in NYC.

If Trump loses and refuses to leave
IDBillzFan replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Man, God bless you both for what you're dealing with. I have a customer whose in-laws were both suffering from dementia. His wife was taking care of them full time, but ultimately he had to take a leave of absence because of the stress it was putting on his wife. He was fortunate that his employer made certain arrangements for him to take the time he needed, but not everyone is that fortunate. The time, effort and emotional stress was so evident in every phone call we had. My family will pray for all of you...as well as Kemp, who could certainly stand to have a softer heart, because it takes an immense amount of anger and hate to mock caregivers. -

Kamala Harris is the next VP
IDBillzFan replied to JetsFan20's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He got her appointed to the CA Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (a $100K job) and then appointed to the CA Medical Assistance Commission, which met 12 times a year, for $72K. So he got her $172,000 a year income, and that doesn't include him stumping for her and fundraising for her when she ran against her boss for SFO DA. That describes it completely accurately, and when you look at it up close, there's a reason people are on her for sleeping her way into politics, especially because everyone knew Willie ALWAYS had more than once woman on his arm. Kamala was one of many, because he was easy pickin's. -

IDBillzFan replied to JetsFan20's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You can try to wash it away as people being judgmental, but the reality is that most people do not like even the perception of a woman banging an older guy to get ahead. And Willie has admitted repeatedly all the things he did for her while they were sleeping together. So that is a choice Harris made, and a choice she has to live with. And that is why the internet is filled with jokes about her 'blowing it' and campaign posters of Joe and Blow 2020. When you're young and bang an old dude in power, and walk away without countless opportunities as a result of the old guy you're banging, this is what she gets in the long run, whether you like it or not. -
If Trump loses and refuses to leave
IDBillzFan replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
@Kemp's comment about caregivers was one of the more embarrassing comments I've seen posted here, and I still see people quoting BillStime's stupidity, so that's saying something. -
The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
IDBillzFan replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It was like Billstime personified. You have to figure Joe was sitting there thinking, "Yeah, well, at least she doesn't have to go home with you, America." -
Admittedly, I don't follow this story like everyone else because I expect it to to come up empty in the end, but I do follow Housley. He seems to piss off the right and the left, which is usually a sign he's over the target. But there are just too many moving parts to this story for the average American to follow consistently...so many names and contacts and chains of command, etc....and the ones with the biggest megaphones simply won't give it the attention it deserves to get people demanding justice.

If Trump loses and refuses to leave
IDBillzFan replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
What a condescending piece of schitt you are with this comment. I pray you never have to be someone's primary caregiver because it's pretty clear you have so little understanding and regard for what is involved. If you find yourself in a position where you're expected to be a primary caregiver, tell them to find an adult who can actually handle the job so the person can live out their last days with some dignity. -

It cracks me up when leftists go batschittcrazy over something Trump said, just before they prepare to vote for the dude who told the Cornpop story. That story is worse than Hillary's lie about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia. C'mon, man! Cornpop! -
It's amazing to me that so many people on social media -- right and even left -- saw that question for what it was; a 'journalist' taking advantage of cameras rolling for the sake of self-promotion, and yet a handful of people are stupid enough to make the argument that Trump was embarrassing because wouldn't deny the accusation. Watching the left soil itself over moments like starting to get a little embarrassing.

I saw this last night and remain particularly curious how NYC will react to this. It's clear the excuse is ridiculous, but is it possible the residents of NYC simply don't care about 9/11 anymore? There was no outrage when they chose to cancel the annual reading of the names (thought a private group has taken that on), so I suspect "Never Forget" has been forgotten.

This is something that have leftists stumped. As a party that requires you to abandon all independent thought, the left will overwhelmingly tell you they LOVE Biden and will gladly vote for him. You rarely, if ever, hear a leftist suggest, "Well, I don't like Biden, the person, oer the fact that he's been in office over 40 years and has literally nothing to show for it,, but he still gets my vote." What I will be curious to see is how badly Biden/Harris lose the Bernie vote. They have Bernie writing some policy for them, but I think the Bernie Bros are smarter than that and will turn on BIden/Harris simply because they're disappointed that Bernie folded again. Perhaps @RealKayAdams can lend some of her insight.

You have to love how Twitter works. Massive ME deal, and what does Twitter have trending: Impeach Trump and Kavanaugh. The latter are all the leftists defending Harris's questioning of Kavanaugh, but no one seems to be asking her if she still believes that Joe phingerphuckeda Tara Reade. Weird how lertists are like that. Apparently sexual assault is okay for Democrats. -

And if masks are the answer, why are the Dem governors and mayors choosing to ignore masks and, instead, release prisoners to protect them from Covid? No one sees to be able to answer that question.
