Clemson is a bad match up for cuse rn, two bigs that are a threat to score and rebound and a lot more experience (4 seniors) to our all sophomore team

     We had no chance.

We shot very well, but we can’t match up with them at all on defense.

I just want to say that this team is absolutely loaded for next year if they stay loyal to the orange

And quadir is going to be an NBA player himself with the awesome development of the orange staff

He's got the whole bag my God he could easily be a top 20 draft pick when it's all said and done if he sticks it out

Agreed. A very promising group. Encouraged to see Bell take the next step too. Even Taylor has looked a lot better, despite not having found his outside shot.

I think we absolutely need to have Starling, Bell, Brown, and Copeland back next year to build on this season. That might be overly optimistic.

They're banned in the county where I live, yet they're all you see.  I take a machete with me whenever I'm outside with my kids, as I won't chance a thing.

I don't dislike dogs, but I never worry having my kids around our 3 cats.

I have thought about carrying wasp spray around when I go on bike rides or walks, especially with my kids. Always see a random Pit bull or Rottweiler that seems ready to head into the street.

Hard to take anything to the bank anymore long-term with the transfer portal and NIL being what it is. I've already heard buzz that Judah is likely gone; if not to the NBA then to Georgetown. Been some buzz that Maliq and Bell will be hard to keep too. Hopefully the rumors end up not being true so we can basically run it back with this group plus Donnie and get back into the NCAA Tournament but we'll see. Losing either Maliq or Judah would be pretty catastrophic for our hopes IMO. I would say at least for now, the Maliq/Bell stuff is just a little murmur; nothing concrete. I'm sure Judah will try to go to the NBA Draft again this offseason...hopefully he returns if he doesn't get good news there like he did last year. I know Georgetown is pretty confident they're getting him though.

Judah to Georgetown?! That would be rough.

with the portal, it is really a game of luck and attrition. All the elite teams have a stable of good upperclassmen they seem to be able to hang onto (UConn, Houston, Purdue, UNC). Not sure how they do it.

Anyone else in a dynasty league (or several)?

I just joined one three seasons ago, and loved it so much I joined another. I absolutely love the roster building and roster management aspects of it. I also love that it goes all year round and there really is no offseason. It's fun to scout and draft rookies every year, to be able to trade picks, to manage FAAB money for waivers, etc.. I have come to vastly prefer it to re-draft leagues.

My only complaint is that in both leagues I'm in, my fellow owners aren't very active. Lack of response to trade requests, lack of activity on waivers. Lame. For a dynasty league to thrive and be fun, there has to be lots of activity. If I put DeVon Achane on the trade block in one league and Ken Walker on the trade block in another (which I did), and neither move responds in even a single trade inquiry after a week...it's not an active enough league.

I just want to be in a league with other fantasy football sicko addicts and degenerate gamblers who are as obsessed as me and often think up trade offers us they're drifting off to sleep at night. Is that too much to ask? 😂

Anyway...just venting and trying to see if there are any other dynasty league addicts on this forum.

I was in a dynasty league for several

years. It was an auction league, with a cap and the ability to sign players to long-term deals.

To your point, it is only fun if the owners are all very engaged. It helped that we all knew each other, and so there was a lot of trade talk over phone and email.

I enjoyed it, but I became too busy and decided that I couldn’t commit the time.

Are you playing on a specific site?

I am loving me some Copeland!  He plays with a fire and confidence that others seem to feed off of.  He has some sneaky length and ball handling to him and seems to do whatever is needed.  Just needs to cut down on some turn overs as he tries to get too cute with it some times but he is only going to get better which is kinda awesome

Sneaky length is probably an understatement

He has a 6'6 point guard with great wingspan

    He is tremendously long

I have honestly seen enough of Taylor. Copeland should be starting in his place, and getting the lion’s share of the minutes. Taylor has struggled in every facet this year, and offers less on the boards than Copeland can give us in more of a 3-guard lineup.

    Petty! I bleed Orange!

We just got a quad 1 and quad 2 win!! Top 45 in RPI...

Great defense.... Chris Bell is an NBA shooter with size ... Quadir is a defensive menace... Judah and JJ...

This team is sleepy good... And next year can be a elite 8 team

where have you been? I figured you had given up on this team!!

    what a game by Bell!

I've become a terrible Cuse fan... what will it take for SU to get into the tourney??? Not even a bubble team right now.

With the current state of college bball and Syracuse sort of being meh, I get very little enjoyment out of it anymore. It’s like watching AAU games. Just a collection of guys coming and going through the program.

I don’t think they are even on the bubble. Not sure they can get there either.

Per ProFootball Rumors, the 49ers have fired Steve Wilks DC.   I guess KC will do that to you!  I think the final outcome would have been different if Dre Greenlaw doesn't tear his achilles.

they could have had Vince lombardi

Coaching and Lawrence Taylor on the edge, and Mahomes would have still shredded them in the clutch!
