I don’t think anyone can judge the situation between the girl and Mad Max. But I do have wonder why the Bills took the plunge seeing as how they knew all about it. It’s not like he’s a sixth round punter. If this goes bad, it’s a helluva public relations nightmare.

agreed. The Bills are pretty naive if they thought that the Araiza and Hairston situations wouldn’t mature into lawsuits and PR issues. Neither guy was a “must have” player too.

Saw a lot of complaining on Facebook about people not being able to get tickets.  I get it.  The problem is with the demand there currently is it's impossible to be able to accommodate everybody with tickets.

the problem is the current set up and the commercialization of camp. Let’s Go back to some place like Fredonia with endless fields and parking and people can come and go easily.

I was at Steelers camp a few years back when the Bills practiced there, and that’s how it was. No tickets and you just roam around.

Was lucky enough to be there as a kid. This is the game, and really the moment, that pops into my head whenever the 90s teams are referenced.

That real life image of the FG being blocked and and the ball just hanging in the air for what seems like forever with Bennett the only one underneath it. Just waiting to catch it and take it to the house. We could all see what was coming.

And it's also a great summary of how magical and dominant those teams were. We were never out of it until the clock hit 0:00. And even then theres a chance...

I have always contended that that blocked FG and TD by Bennett was the watershed moment for the Bills. The defining moment that changed the trajectory of the team, and led to the rise of that great team.

I was 11 as well! I remember that I was the only one watching the game at the time, and definitely started screaming insanely after the Kelly run. I honestly think this game and moment was the one that solidified my love of this team and the thrill of watching them do the (seemingly) impossible to win. This ranks up there with the three touchdowns in 1:17 and the Houston comeback from my childhood. So great.

I was the only one watching too. And I totally agree— that moment just felt so defining in my fandom as a kid!

YouTube must be pushing the same thing to all of us. It popped up on my suggestions yesterday too. I forgot the drive started with a Marino INT by Odomes.

The Kelly dive for a TD, is still a top 10 franchise play in my list.

How good was that Odomes pick too? Just jumped that route on a well thrown ball and snatched it away!

I've pretty much given up the idea of ever going to camp again. It used to be a fun thing for my son and I but ever since the lotto ticket we've never been able to go.

I felt the same. But I actually won the lottery last year, and was able to go and bring my kids. Probably will never happen again though!

Anyone ever make one? Have some leftover wood and time on my hands. Have a plan of sorts, but figured I'd reach out. Pretty sure the wood is maple. Got it from a guy that lives by Lewiston that owns a sawmill.

    Thanks.  Go Bills

my FIL is a great wood maker, and i love doing charcuteries. Now I know what we are asking him to make us for Christmas!

I didnt even realize Martin had been here three years.  In the "old dreary days" I actively followed or punters, recall the quote of the years from Jauron?, "we punted well" or Bills fan extolling the great prowres of Brian Moorman our own Bills MVP.

Now with this offense, punting is about my last concern, biggest concern I have is our special teams coach and punted getting blocked due to mis assignments/alignments.

it wasn’t that long ago that we were stressing over old Bojo and his horrendous holding! I think you must have blocked that out of your Bills memory!

No games today, but Desmond Bane being traded to my Orlando Magic made me a happy guy today!!

The price seems a little steep with the 4 first round draft picks, but if the team is as good as I believe it will now be, those picks will be in the 20's, not lottery picks.

They already have their two Superstar players in Banchero and Franz Wagner, but the weakest position on the Magic was the Shooting Guard position, and the weakest aspect of the team was 3 point shooting......Bane is a sharp-shooting 2 guard that solves both of those problems.

Maybe this time next year we will be talking Orlando Magic Basketball in the NBA Finals portion of this thread!!

    Go Magic!!

a Magic fan!! Not sure there are many out there!

that magic team already was sneaky good. Wagner is very under the radar. He is superb.

This post got me thinking, “what’s the right number that it would take in exchange for a Bills Super Bowl?” Obviously, $500 isn’t the answer. The champagne I’d pop after a Super Bowl would exceed that. What’s your number?

I’m thinking like $500K would be my number. That might be insane and it might not be high enough. That number is big enough to matter but not big enough to stop working or drastically change the day-to-day.

I figure that this is an interesting place for this discussion because the people spending time here, in June, REALLY care about the Bills.

the tricky thing in this hypothetical is that I would think the money would guarantee the SB win, but doesn’t necessarily mean your team couldn’t win won at another time? So, I would expect a lot of people would take the money.

Or is it a binary situation— ie, the Bills only win the SB if you forego the money?  That makes it much harder. Might be a million bucks for me in this scenario.

Tre White was horrendous in 2024 and Dane Jackson was worse........arguably the worst CB in the entire NFL last year.   He had a 33.9 pff grade.

I had to laugh when I perused the Sammy Watkins trade thread a while back and you chimed in about how good Jordan Matthews was.

Have you ever thought that a player the Bills have wasn't better than one they no longer had? 😂

I will be really curious to see how Tre does in camp. He looked washed last year. But maybe an extra year away from that Achilles will get him back to a serviceable level?
