    Age perhaps ?

And Mecole was not on a team , which means he was less desirable , to me at least.

But yea conceptually , he fits the need. Agreed :)

i just think there is this huge overinflation of some of these guys leading up to the trade deadline. Some people were viewing Shaheed like he was the next Jerry rice! We just need a fast guy that can open things up. There are a lot of guys like that.

it's also theoretically how you tend to score better

explosive plays are definitely the way to score and win. Our system is tough to sustain. Have to execute at a super high level.

  3. I think a good analogy to what is going on with the Bills is golf.

the bills want Josh to play a “smart” game. Hit your hybrid off the tee, lay-up, two-putt for some nice pars and a clean round.

josh wants to hit a 330 yard driver, and go for the green in two. He knows he can do it, and it’s more fun to do it.

With Kincaid out, I would like to see more of Alec Anderson going forward like we did last year. And that includes with Jackson Hawes. I would embrace going heavy personnel and hope that Palmer and or Davis can be a factor on the outside.

absolutely!! This is our identity. I am tired of trying to run from it.

I don't want to hear about how he needs a month before even considering playing him.

Let Josh tell him "just get open" and START HIM.   I don't care.  DO IT.

He's also an instant upgrade at KR / PR

agreed. His ability to play ST means he should get on the field immediately.

Also, we only need him to run some GO routes to clear some space. Just go deep!

  6. Yeah, but that is a little misleading. When we run 12 and 13 personnel, the box is always going to be naturally stacked.

I think there were three problems with our run game:

    1) too much inside stuff. Where were all the outside pitches?  We only ran that a few times, and it worked well when we did (and drew a penalty once).

    2) the Miami LBs just did a nice job. I don’t know if it was run blitzing or just shooting the gaps, but they really did a good job at getting stops.

    3) didn’t really commit to the run game and got off schedule too much.

The numbers say that Kincaid is injury-prone.

In his first 2 seasons he played in 29 of 34 games.

This year he missed one game before not being able to finish out yesterday... plus he'll be out an indefinite number of game going forward.

It's just my opinion but I think he's gonna struggle to stay healthy and to have a long career.

this is a guy you let walk, and he will have a career bouncing around from team to team on 1-year deals.

Who is fighting it is my question.  Is it Josh not liking to pass from under center?  If so gotta get used to it right now.  His numbers and metrics are very good when he does.

I suspect last game it was Brady. This is me guessing— but I think they thought they could beat Miami’s corners with our receivers and so it was a good game to try to get our receivers going.

Well, our receivers still stink, Miami’s corners outplayed them, and the bills just needed to go back to their bread and butter of heavy personnel and running. (They actually did later and it worked, but then we had the pick and fumble).
