  1. Actually a great golf analogy by Tiki.
  2. We waited like 25 years— but a Lonnie Johnson finally made a play in a football game.
  3. I don’t get why everyone complains about Mowins, when the obvious target is Tiki Barber. minority? This is an all-time classic.
  4. I have come around to thinking that I might like to see BB totally confuse Brady. We have had to put up with that garbage for 20 years— would like to see Brady be on the receiving end for once.
  5. This is why I hate Seattle fans. Their computer nerds built a stadium with unnatural accoustics, and their fans take credit for it.
  6. I think other than cowboys stadium, it’s looking like most newer stadiums are at around 60,000ish or so. That allows lots of room for the money making luxury boxes. I am really hoping they build a stadium similar to Lucas Oil in Indy. Fully retractable roof. This will give the Bills a great advantage too— they can eye the weather and decide what they want to do heading into a bad weather game. To me, keeping out rain and gusting wind is important. Snow and cold is totally fine.
  7. this is how I am feeling. Big time revenge game.
  8. yeah, in a pickup truck. I wouldn’t think he would be dumb enough to steal a truck and stop to ask for directions though.
  9. We have a sighting. This guy says he is sure he talked to Laundrie on the AT in North Carolina: https://nypost.com/2021/10/02/brian-laundrie-may-have-been-spotted-on-appalachian-trail/
  10. oh yeah. Tom Donahoe making a huge splash. I really thought TD was going to be the answer.
  11. i actually think this isn’t a horrible take, only because they seem to only throw to Cooks. They just force it to him 90% of the time. He’s bound to catch some if he is targeted 15-20 times.
  12. That is fair. I was never high on Fields, but I agree it’s a bit unfair to assess him now. He definitely is much more raw than a lot of recent top 10 picks. it will be interesting to see where the openings are this off-season. I think definitely in Chicago. Vic Fagio in Denver may be safe the way he has that team Playing. Maybe Minnesota will fire Zimmer. And Texans could can Culley after a year. Other than that, I don’t think there will be any other openings.
  13. yeah, I wouldn’t be jumping at that bears job with Fields as the QB.
  14. I think this proves my point a little. he wanted to go back to Pittsburgh but couldn’t because he publicly insulted the QB. No matter how you spin it, that comment was a dumb and gratuitous move. I suspect he regrets it in hindsight. But I guess we can agree to disagree.
  15. there is no reason to go to a new team and publicly bad mouth your prior QB, no matter how bad he is. I think E Sanders had since expressed remorse for making those public statements, and he is obviously an older and more mature player at this point.
  16. I was dead wrong about Sanders. I pinned him as a diva and sort of an anti-process guy. That view stemmed from him bad mouthing Ben R for no reason when he left Pittsburgh.
  17. I heard he has been really banged up. Knee drained; didn’t play at all in the preseason. The way our ST likes to give up big plays, I can see Roberts having some success this Sunday.
  18. I didn’t realize Philly had two 1st rounders. But I get the sense that they love Jalen Hurts there. I haven’t seen him Play very much to get a beat on him.
  19. i just re-watched it just now again in case I was wrong. He didn’t touch him. It looked like Spain tried to grab his arm, but totally whiffed and the defender came in at a weird angle. There was almost no contact between them at all. that was sort of emblematic of a lot of ticky tack offensive and defensive holds and illegal Contact penalties they called all night. Some were legit, but most were way too ticky tack, IMO.
  20. but how about that offensive holding call on Spain? He literally didn’t touch the defender. That could have cost the Bengals the game.
  21. I am Not sure it would have made a difference, But Urban Meyer did not coach a tactically sound game— two key misses to me: 1) As I said up thread, you kick that FG in the second quarter to build that 3-score cushion. Instead, they didn’t get it and he let the Bengals back in it. 2) 4th and 4 on the last jags offensive possession— 5 minutes left and ball at midfield and the offense was looking good, and defense is looking terrible. You have to go for it. Go and win the game at that point!
  22. what a poorly Officiated game. Lots of big phantom penalties on both teams.
