    True. But you gotta admit that the atmospherics around this entire game stink for the refs. They had a material impact on the game— like their calls and non-calls caused the chiefs to win. So the calls and non-calls better have been mostly right.

    I am still shaking my head over the one play where they let the entire thing run for a Cin stop, let the punt teams come out, and then the refs called a do-over for KC. On said do-over, they call a defensive hold for a first down for KC. I mean, can you write a better script?

    Chiefs also have Frank Clark and Chris jones, and were playing on a clean field. We had no Von, a gimpy Oliver, and 11 guys who looked like they were gingerly stepping on a wet sidewalk out there.

    I feel dirty watching that game. Can you imagine the stench of losing that game? A combination of over-officious refs and weird special teams plays.

    Great hire. Should have never been fired in Denver. That said, that two-high safety defense is a lot easier to play against now, IMO.

    I hear ya. my son’s 8th birthday party is today. I told him how after my 9th birthday party, we all watched the Bills lose to the Browns on the Ronnie Harmon drop, and someone threw something at the wall, putting a hole in it. So, they won’t have that same post-birthday party experience tonight.

    It really is bizarre how Moss sort of fell off. If you look at the early part of last season, he was our best back. He was huge in the regular season win over the chiefs, including catching balls out of the backfield. No idea what happened.

    People can bellyache about Beane. But nothing beats the stupidity of the Bills desperately needing a DT, having Ngata fall into their laps, and passing on him for a terrible safety in Donte Whitner. Glad we aren’t back in that era!

    It was a smart pick. He fits the profile of what they look for at LB. I suspect he just ended up rawer than anticipated, and has a steeper learning curve.

    I may give it a chance with my kids now on the Switch. I never could play it back in the day— would always make me dizzy, and I was more of a Madden guy.

    I was clamoring for it on the day they drafted him! On draft day, Beane said it would be easier to start him at CB and move him to safety. They needed to do this in camp, IMO.

    you can’t beat that, especially if it is $50 after taxes and fees. I am going to call to cancel for real here soon, and if they offer me that, I probably will stay for a bit.

    I will say that if I had to guess, in the end, the decision maybe had little to do with what you or I are saying. It could be the case that the bills really wanted Hodgins and banked on hodgins not getting poached when they tried to PS him again, but miscalculated. I do think though that in the end, the roster decision-making reflects overemphasizing ST.
