Interesting Article about Labor in the NFL
In-A-Gadda-Levitre replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could be wrong, but it sounds like your inferring that he was somewhat biased towards the players, which he would have to be if he was even close to becoming Director of the NFLPA. This article sounds like the owners hold most of the cards and the players are going to be forced to agree to the owners post-impasse decision. Not exactly talking tough on behalf of the players... -
You've tried this ridiculous argument before and it just makes you look stupid. WRs don't get to call their own routes in the NFL! Write it down. Lee Evans runs the plays that are called by the OC and QB.

+1
-
wow, I actually agree with you on this 100%
-
+1 let's hope it means open to him winning the open qb competition between TE, Fitz and whomever they trade for, draft, or possibly a FA they sign.

Center is probably the most difficult position position on the OL to play. I am not trying to say it's like LT, where only a few have excelled. The center has make all the calls for the rest of the line. The Bills wanted him to learn the NFL game and shift him to center later on. It might even happen this season, depending on his recovery, training camp, and who they pick up in the draft and UFAs. They had a serviceable center in Hangartner (at least that was the thinking in the 2009 offseason) and they needed guards. That's who uses a mid lst round pick on a guard. maybe switch to decaf...

I couldn't find it either. The first paragraph of the article infers that he never published the 1st interview because of interruptions, going off topic, etc.

Rams make it official, release Marc Bulger

I guess it kinda depends, key word being credibility. Seems like most players take to ex players that are coaches and might respond better to a vet player than a coach who never made in the NFL. I'm not saying I agree, just might explain the difference. -

Bills offered McNabb an extension
In-A-Gadda-Levitre replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's pretty simple; Reid wanted to make his QB of the last 11 years happy. You can argue that he shouldn't do that, but that's the kind of guy he is. -
Brandon has zero influence in draft
In-A-Gadda-Levitre replied to In-A-Gadda-Levitre's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get you, but here's my theorem... Nix controls the draft, Brandon has no influence with Nix in the draft, therefore Brandon has no influence in the draft maybe I should have said little or no influence in the draft perhaps GR8PRKN can offer their wisdom on the intent of the question and whether or not I captured the spirit, or went too far. -
a little tidbit from Tim's chat yesterday (4/2) so much for the negative nancys that claim Russ still makes the football decisions...

it might be related to the wireless adapter and this is a good test, but I think it's symptomatic of the problem, not the cause. Usually the invalid windows image or application message is a result of something else going wrong, like a memory issue. It's possible that that DLL is the wrong version or corrupted, but it seems like you would never be able to connect to the internet if that was the problem. What's likely happening is that the driver for the wireless device is being loaded, it fails because of something else, then it works when the software is loaded correctly after an automatic retry.

she might have a virus, run a full scan with the latest definitions... sounds like a security program like Norton, McAfee, or anti-spyware might be blocking sites. I don't think Malwarebytes does that. What antivirus and spyware programs are running besides Malwarebytes? The MSN Messenger crash might be a different problem or conflict with another another program at startup. I'd go to msconfig (depending on what version of windows...), click the startup tab and disable most everything that isn't required, then re-enable them 1 at a time to see what is causing MSN Messenger to crash. Most of the programs that are loaded at startup just enable the application to start faster and aren't necessary, just take up memory, takes more time for windows to startup, etc. What version of Windows and IE is she running? When the system is running slow, bring up the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), click on the Processes tab and then the CPU column. That will tell you what program is using up the CPU the most. also, post the HiJackThis log in here

Apparently Colt McCoy's pro day went well
In-A-Gadda-Levitre replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he ranks him the #4 QB in the draft, behind Bradford, Clausen and McCoy. He was very impressed with TT's Pro Day - mostly that he was able to make so much progress in the 6 weeks since the Senior Bowl. -

NFLN's Mike Mayock doesn't think he'll last until the 3rd round either -
DM is due a $6.5M roster bonus in May and his current contract pays him $11M a year in 2010

Chan Gailey Sure is a Busy Guy
In-A-Gadda-Levitre replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
wrong... CG has made it clear that he wants the QB situation stabilized by the draft The man and his staff have quite a few balls in the air. He's taken over a team with holes in every position except maybe the defensive secondary and Special Teams. He has a million decisions to make, a new offensive system to install, his first draft approaching, and who knows what else. Cut him some slack, jeez -
ok, but saying that TO threw Trent Edwards, or any Bills players, under the bus, when it was his agent named Drew Rosenhaus, who's known for saying just about anything to get his clients a contract, is being disingenuous. I'd like to see quotes where the man himself said anything close to that. IMO, TO didn't bring his best game to the Bills last season, but he was a model citizen, at least for TO...

yes and no, can't you just say what you mean?

Allen Wilson's article about Chan Gailey wanting consistency in the offense was updated yesterday. While I re-read the part about quick-as-a-cat water bugs, I got to thinking, maybe he means that's how he will use Roscoe. I know he was referring to draft picks, but that could be a smokescreen. Parrish is listed at 5'9" 178 on the team roster. I know we've tried using Roscoe on reverses and other trick plays, and it usually backfires. Lining him up in the backfield and/or the Wildcat is an interesting way to utilize his talents is all I'm saying.

good post

please refresh my memory, how did the guy throw him under the bus?

think about it another way... An ex head of NFL officials teaching teams how to avoid taking penalties. What goes through the back judge's head as the ball is snapped? Why a head linesman might let an encroachment go? There's so many things that are of huge value. Teams welcome the officials when they tour the TCs, because they teach them just that, how to avoid penalties, especially due to rule changes. Many teams hire ex-officials as consultants during the offseason. This is nothing but good IMO.
