  1. Oh...wait...you were serious.
  2. I agree. Between Strahan and Dent, they will pick Strahan. Between Strahan and Haley, I might see Haley getting the nod, due to the fact that he was waiting longer. If they both became eligible the same year, it would be Strahan. On a completely separate note (and to rip the free buffet seekers even more), anyone else notice the irony of PFWA members (an organization fighting to make things more open wrt teams) are the same ones participating in a process which is held in complete secrecy?
  3. Yes, he would. It is debatable how many he would actually have. He claims 213.5. I know a few researchers who went back and analyzed it and he still has over 200, but I am not sure if it was the same total. Regardless, there is no question that Jones sacked the quarterback more than anyone else, regardless of the official statistics.
  4. No biggie. If you are just talking DE's, you should put Jones and Marchetti ahead of Strahan. Give me some time, and I might be able to add a few more. If you add ALL pass rushers, Strahan falls even farther down the list. It depends on who all is in the Class of 2013 as to whether Strahan is first ballot or not. He is a media darling, so that will help his case. If he gets into broadcasting, he should be a lock. The free buffet seekers club likes to take care of their own.
  5. LT as in Taylor? He was an LB.
  6. Why would we want to pick up a guy, just so that we can help the Raiders win a Super Bowl?
  7. Hence the reason why you get people like Byrne to write for the blog. You get what you pay for.
  8. While he is at it, tell him to move over to the other side of the line, as well. I would rank White, Jones, Marchetti and Smith (not necessarily in that order) ahead of Strahan.
  9. You, too, can be the next Connor Byrne.
  10. I think you answered your own question.
  11. He's not retired until he files the paperwork with the NFL. I will believe it when that happens.
  12. As well it should. I learn more from your stuff than I do from any other source. So, how's that next article for the PFRA coming along?
  13. So, you spent 2.5 hours waiting for tickets you didn't even want?
  14. Somebody needs a hug. Here, I will make you feel better. It would be ironic if LA was the one to make sure that Buffalo kept their team, since it was LA Rams owner Dan Reeves who killed Buffalo's chances at having an NFL franchise in 1950.
  15. $30 each time in my area.
  16. Thank you.
  17. Weren't Bruce Smith, Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas "fired?" Would you consider them key losses?
  18. According to the NFL rules (Rule 5, Section 1, Article 4), wide receivers are only allowed to wear the following numbers: 10-19 or 80-89. Tight ends are only allowed to wear 80-89, so that limits the number of "80s" that can be used. When Evans arrived, the only numbers available to him were 12, 13, 17, 83. If 12 and 83 are "off-limits," that leaves unlucky 13 and number 17. I would have picked 83 if I were him, given the choices. 10 Greg Zolman 11 Drew Bledsoe 12 {Open} 13 {Open} 14 Kevin Beard 15 Jerel Myers 16 Cedric Bonner 17 {Open} 18 Drew Haddad 19 Jonathan Smith 80 Eric Moulds 81 Bobby Shaw 82 Josh Reed 83 {Open} 84 Mark Campbell 85 Clarence Coleman 86 Antonio Brown 87 Tim Euhus 88 Ryan Neufeld 89 Sam Aiken
  19. Thanks. ...or Van Miller?
  20. Wasn't it something along the lines of "There wouldn't be world hunger if you people lived where the FOOD IS!"
  21. Interesting, but I am not sure I agree. Here are some things to think about. It gives season rankings for the last three Bills kickers, as well as their all-time rank in the major categories.
