Thanks, All!! I have a bottle of Victory V-12 I have been aging for this occasion. It is a duel celebration of my 40th and signing the contract on my Buffalo Bills book with the publisher (that happened last weekend). I have some old game films (30s and 40s NFL/AAFC) lined up and some good brew. It is going to be a great day!! Thanks again, everyone.

I have finished putting together the beginnings of the Two Bills Drive History section. What I have is the following: Feature Articles: Right now, I just have an article on the 1965 AFL Championship Game. Over the next few weeks, I will add articles on the 1926 Buffalo Rangers (early NFL team), the 1918 Buffalo Semi-Professional Football League and the 1919 Buffalo Prospects. I will also do some "Where Are They Now?" segements in the future, as well as write about other topics in WNY pro football history. Hall of Fame: Quick bios of all Bills HOFers, including this year's class. Historical Game of the Week: All HGOTW articles from last year. I will continue that feature this coming season. Wall of Fame: Quick bios of WOFers up to last season. Year by Year Results: Linescores, schedules and rosters for every regular season and post season game played by the Bills from 1960 through 2008.

The last time I saw a PG post, his post was shorter than the post he was quoting. I think his head exploded. Whether his opinions were correct or not, he at least took the time to properly explain his perspective. You don't see much of that these days on the board. Probably because most people don't know what the hell they are talking about, so trying to explain their opinion to people would be impossible.

There is no question that Cookie was a phenomenal player. The problem was the length of time that he played for Buffalo. If he had a decent career (in terms of length) in Buffalo, there would be no question that he would make the 50th Anniversary team. Since he was only here for a short time, I would have to put him third behind OJ and TT.

As bdelma mentioned, yes, he was that good and belongs on the list.

Honestly, any bottle is fine for brewing. The main thing you need to keep in mind is sanitation. As long as it is clean and sanitized, you are good to go. Add a blowoff tube and you are set.
