  1. Well, at least he has his law degree to fall back on.
  2. Hey, I told them to just keep the riff-raff out. Oh...wait...
  3. Who do you think was paying for the security details? Hint: it wasn't coming from campaign contributions.
  4. Gotta love the Big Two. I have heard of these stories from both sides of the aisle, especially during the Presidential campaign last year. Neither party seems to like being questioned on things. They just expect people to drink the Kool-Aid and go along with whatever is said.
  5. I have to agree with you on that. Moulds is the best of the bunch, but he is not good enough for Wall status. Maybe it will change by the end of his career, but right now he is not worthy.
  6. I agree that it is a tough job. With stuff like this, you cannot afford to be wrong.
  7. Gee, ya think?
  8. I am not up on laws in all 50 states, but I say that yes, there is some say on the state level.
  9. Well, this gets back to the debate Rubes and I had regarding Healthcare reform. I feel it should be privatized, therefore eliminating government intervention.
  10. My prediction: Bottom 3: Scott, Jessica, Anthony Eliminated: Anthony (although I thought Scott was the worst last night)
  11. IMO, no. It is a personal matter not governmental on any level.
  12. Wow. I never thought of that.
  13. There is not question that I agree with you on this. The government is only responsible for defending our lives via National Security. They are not responsible for determining the extent of our medical conditions and whether we should live or die due to those conditions.
  14. Actually, yes it was. Halas was coach and team manager at the start of the 1921 season (the season Buffalo officially became a member of the league). He was in charge of everything including scheduling.
  15. SDS is a given. Kultarr and Bob Lamb are locks as well. Good picks!!
  16. Precisely.
  17. First, let me say I am sorry to hear about your sister, and I hope for a speedy recovery. About the first speaker, I am guessing that was Jeffrey Miller talking about the 1921 Buffalo All-Americans. BTW, it was not pre-NFL but the beginning of the NFL. The NFL started in 1920, but it was under a different name (APFA). The NFL name started in 1922. I disagree with Miller's hypothesis that Buffalo was screwed out of the championship in 1921. It is Buffalo's fault, not Halas'. Buffalo had the championship wrapped up but decided to play "exhibition" games against Akron and Chicago (Staleys). Just because one team calls them "exhibition" games does not mean that the league views it the same way. Buffalo lost because: 1) They lost to Chicago in the last game of the season. At the time, the second game counted more than the first in league tie-breakers. 2) There was no official end to the season at the time. The league ends when teams decide to stop playing. 3) Buffalo was stupid to schedule the Akron game the day before the Chicago game. They were beat up, while Chicago was rested. Combine that with the scandal involving the Philadelphia Quakers resulting in the loss of several key players and Buffalo was hurting.
  18. It was the April Issue. April Fools, anyone?
  19. Easy. The one not in the HOF.
  20. It has never stopped people before, so why start now. If we just eliminate the years without QB's being inducted, every year we have had a QB inducted within the last decade. HOF Thingy
  21. 2003. They also skipped them 2001, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996 and 1995 over the last 10 years which is 70% of the time.
  22. Because they can't come up with anything better? Makes a pretty good soundbite for the Hot Pockets crowd? It ties into the "Halliburton became eeeevil starting January 2001" stuff?
  23. Exactly. His jealousy is getting the better of him. Maybe he needs more cowbell.
  24. So, you are saying that we are not spending enough on defense?
  25. Hater. You are just jealous that you are not part of the "in" crowd, as determined by themselves.
