4,brian moorman
5,terrance mcgee
6,angelo crowell
7,jp losman hey he is a rookie with no line
8,bobby april
9,sam wyche
10,pat williams......hey its not his fault he aint here he wanted to be a bill!
if jim kelly was serious and really wanted to learn how to coach........................................he would probably be awesome.i dont think he wants to put in the hard hours needed to be a coach.and i think calling your own plays is a very hard thing to do it must mean he knows a little about x's and o's.
i remember phill simms 1st years in the nfl he was the most sacked qb and parcells benched him in favor of scott bruner,so yes it happens and troy aikman was killed his 1st yaer and peyton manning for that manner.as long as the player dosnt get seriously hurt i guess its ok,the flipside is the player can get gunshy and start to make irreversable bad decisions
oh you are definately right there.retreads can be just as bad.what i would really like to see is a coach who can game plan is all.i love how belecheck on one day can play his team in a base 4-3 and then switch to a 3-4 during the game.that is what i would like a coach who can gameplan and attack the weakness of a team.in the marv levy years it seems we always unleashed some new weapon each week.like when we showed miami our screens.that is what i want.i think the texans were smart to get dan reeves "in the fold"and i bet since he is on the team as a consultant he can probably get promoted without going through the have to hire miniortities 1st.and i am not saying not to hire a miniorty just saying that was a good hire out of nowhere. i'd take a rookie coach if it was one that showed our new gm the cxapacity to gameplan is all,go bills in'06
i dont know only if he is adaptable.i dont want another greg williams who only knows "his system" 1st off philly plays a west coast type offense and 2nd philly never never never has a running game and thats why philly has never won anything! i'll take a pass on childress thankyou
i love frank reich, but would rather see him be a pro coordinator for a few years 1st.as for marv i love him as well, but i just dont see him evaulating talent at the college level that we need.just because he was a good coach dosnt mean he would be a good gm
you must be on drugs!eric will not be worth 11 million dollars ayear.he is not worth that at his peak a few years ago when he was good!i wouldn't pay any wr 11 mil and that includes t.o. randy moss and even marvin harrison.
well i hope the next gm keeps some of the coaches.i'd hate to see bobby april leave or tim krumrie or sam wyce and even jim mcnally.as bad as our line is jim didnt sign or draft these guys.we shoulda known something was wrong when td was passing on the likes of marvin lewis, john fox ,charlie weis and even jim fassel.
when we clean house, when is the best time to get a gm?it seems that the new gm would have alot of work in putting a staff together and would this gm and new coach only have "tape"to rely on for which players to keep?seems that with no mini camps before the draft they would only be going by what they see on tape to evaulate the players.i am sure there are players that do bad because of bad coaching and some playerts like coy wire that get to stay because he has gay photos of donahoe or something.all i know is i want a coach/gm who when a player is really bad they cut the player kinda like what bill parcells would do.hopefully our new gm would look at the talent on our team and then build around our young offense (the strengths of jp,willis and lee)and evaluates our defense and builds a team that can run the ball when weather is bad in buffalo and be a good run oriented team,go bills in'06
i wonder if mularky had been "allowed to pick his own defensive coordinator"would this team be in the same bad shape?yes we would still have a anemic offense, but i truly believe our defense would be way way better.
