  1. The funniest thing about this is that my wife, tired of our POS microwave not popping half the kernels, just went out and bought a new 1300 watt microwave so that the whole bag would pop. Then she reads this article...
  2. I've had mine for 22 years and I've never gotten such a thing
  3. Agreed, and as much as I LOVE Freddie Jackson and the way he plays, at 28 he's no longer a young player.
  4. I Don't Like Mondays - Boomtown Rats
  5. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Arfr...ype=team_report Congrats, Coach Jauron - you got the offense you wanted when you fired Turk.
  6. I remember reading about a "football" player named John Hopoate down in Australia who was caught multiple times... um... doing free prostate exams on players from opposing teams
  7. What's next, microwave Retatta?
  8. There are very few things around this team that say anything different
  9. Left off McKelvin, not sure if intentional or not
  10. uhhhhhhhhhhhh... we suck? Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what it says.
  11. We'd have beaten New England, New Orleans, & Houston. Maybe we can start a petition or put up a billboard to get that changed...
  12. I think the flyover was much of the problem. They may have started him too early which was why he started again. After the 3rd retry he had to skip a verse to get back on timing.
  13. Unattractive dude writes a movie for himself to star in and has his character do CFNM scenes with 2 hot chicks.
  14. We're talkin bout practice... PRACTICE.
  15. Elephant-Man wannabe (young Eric Stoltz) gets cute blind chick (young Laura Dern) Cher is annoying, Sam Elliot mumbles Next: 2001: A Space Odyssey
  16. Actually here on TSW it's common, not cmo'n. I blame Poojer.
  17. It was more of a general statement. People have found something that works - run mostly at Ellison and you get 160+ yds rushing per game. Until he gives them a reason to do otherwise, teams will continue to do that no matter who's on the other side.
  18. Think of it this way - do you throw the ball to the receiver covered by the other teams' best shut-down cornerback? Not usually. So the other one gets more tackles and the occasional pass-defensed or pick.
  19. I gather that a large visiting team contingent is fairly common there - one of the local writers wrote: "John Kasay is reliable. You know when you go to Bank of America Stadium that there are two certainties: Kasay will be true and thousands of fans will wear the other team's jersey. "
  20. c) Offenses run at him because he's the weakest link
  21. Had a great time. Got back about 2 hours ago - we stayed visiting family. Having my family there made for quite a different away game trip for me. Thankfully Saturday night was mine, and it was a ball. I hung with Kenny & Scotty and crew. Kenny was at the bar when I got to the Town Tavern around 4, and he was going back in there at 11 when I called it a night - the guy can drink a beer! Town Tavern was alot of fun, and the $2 Blues were going down VERY easily. I'm glad I slowed down when I did tho - made for a much more pleasant Sunday. Watched alot of college ball and drunk people there which is always fun. Met another group from my neck of the woods (Rochester area), and a cute blonde who as an alum was so focused on the Clemson game she wanted nothing to do with the guys hitting on her. My brother in law showed up but was so overwhelmed by the volume and craziness that he had to go home. The buffet at the 2nd place was decent, but WAY overpriced. It was also much quieter, but catching the end of the Sabres game was cool. Game day was pretty sedate actually, partially because I had family responsibilities and my son came to the game with me and he's not a big tailgater yet. The stadium made me throw away all the snacks I had brought - no outside food . I tried to go to a different gate but a security guy actually followed me. I had pretty good seats - 10 rows up in upper deck on the aisle at the 25 yard line. Felt bad for their Jr. Cheerleaders, who were supposed to do a routine at halftime but technical difficulties left them on the field waving for a few minutes before they could start. By the time they were done the players were on the field. As others have said, it was at least 10-15000 Bills fans from the look of it. The ones around me were singing "Sweet Caroline" as Panther fans left about mid-way thru the 4th. Did not get hassled at all - just alot of "I can't believe we lost to THE BILLS!" going on... I'm gonna send Delhomme and John Kasay a nice Thank You card. Thought the Bills D tackling was actually pretty bad - noticed McGee sliding off runners quite a bit.
