You very may well be correct. But Mccaron is signed for dirt cheap. The Bills in no way are heavily invested in him for this year.

Fair points. I was always old school in terms of letting the VET start until last year when l I saw what Houston did. Started Tom Savage then went to Watson and worked out great until the injury. I get the scenarios are completely different, but maybe their best bet is just to let the kid learn. Allen is the future and Mccaron is just the place holder Beane said he wants open competition in camp. Mccaron is virtually signed for backup money

If Allen is a franchise QB for the next 15 years, there is no way they got fleeced

I’m just happy the bills are committed to a QB and have finally addressed the position. If they are wrong on him, keep trying until you get it right

No. But have I done countless hours of research/film study and is an expert on drafting QBs? Not even close. Ill trust the experts opinion any day over mine.

Rapoport said AZ was interested to trade up and get allen. If he turns out to be a franchise guy for the next 15 years, no one is going to remember that the bills only traded 2 second round picks to get him. No sense getting cute with it
