I bet LeSean is upset he doesn't get to be in Philly for this.
NFL.com is so slow with breaking/developing stories sometimes. Still no mention of it there.
Wasn't particularly high on Ford, but too be fair, he had to play along Houston and Hali. I didn't watch many Chiefs games, though.
How far back does this go? I'd be curious to see their projections for the past however many years.
Ugh. The wait is excruciating.
I really can't wait to see what Harvin brings to us. No clue what was really the issue in Seattle, but they didn't seem to utilize him as much or as well as they should have. I like that he points out Sanjay's good coaching and its effect on his game. I remember some negative remarks from the board when he was brought in.
He has definitely not been the same player the past few seasons, so the decision makes sense. One of the best, most aggressive defensemen I've had the pleasure of watching.
Duke got much better as the season went on. He is a hard hitter and sure tackler. I think he has what it takes to start and produce. He's not going to be a top 5 safety or whatever, but he will be a valuable member of the secondary and teams.
Another interesting note on Colbert knowing the value of players. While he did trade up for Santonio Holmes, he also ditched him after violating the substance abuse policy - traded to Jets for a 5th round pick. Colbert then flipped that pick to Arizona - getting back a corner they previously drafted in the second round (Bryant McFadden) and a sixth round pick which was used to draft Antonio Brown. Arizona used that pick to take John Skelton.
Meanwhile, the Jets seem to like dealing away lower-round picks for proven vet receivers to mixed results (thinking of Holmes and Harvin). Wonder how Marshall will pan out.
Totally. He wasn't quite as good under Schwartz. He still had a fine season, but Pettine put him in a position to make more plays, it seemed. Also, probably, more offenses tested him in his first year.
Yeah. Overall he has underwhelmed at CB. I think the idea was that he would start as slot corner before Robey came in and won the job. I am fine with him as depth, but would like to see more from Cockrell in 2015.
He is a pretty good ST player and he is a very heavy hitter. Definitely hasn't shown enough at corner, although I do remember him having to play a little earlier in the season and he did well enough (can't remember which games).
