  1. Seems like a perfect sell high opportunity for them, but if they feel like they are contenders this year I get why they are keeping him.
  2. Well, he did also win a super bowl as GM of the Redskins.
  3. Like what I'm reading about Hughes and Goodwin.
  4. You can tell Rex really loves Tyrod.
  5. I would really love to see EJ take control in camp, or at the very least get to camp. But if they really love Petty or whatever, I guess he won't get the chance. If someone pans out for us, I really don't care what happens.
  6. C. Williams showed symptoms but I don't know that it was officially diagnosed.
  7. I'm seeing our new starting OG at 50. And I will echo the postive sentiment for Mayock. I really enjoy his analysis.
  8. I remember when they leapt to 3 I was certain they were trying to swoop on Philly to get that OT Lane Johnson. LOL. Many sacks of Ryan Tannehill later, here we are.
  9. I'm sure this deal wouldn't go down until draft day.
  10. Could be us, or Jacksonville. Jacksonville just drafted Bortles and "doesn't have a horse in the race." The Bills, if EJ was ranked #11 on this list, doesn't make quite so much sense. I'd think Whaley & Co. would have him higher than #11, given how strongly they seemed to feel about him at the time they drafted him. I'd say it could also be KC, as they were in the QB market in theory, before trading for Alex Smith. Hmm, that's true. I don't remember their sentiment on Gabbert.
  11. Hopefully he only gets one. Stefan Charles can still do plenty of damage against that Colts OL.
  12. Lawson played OLB for Pettine and was much better in that scheme than under Schwartz. Still, I agree that we need some ILB depth and suspect we get Spikes back, otherwise we look to the draft again.
  13. I don't think "the cold front" is worried about Herremans and Reitz.
  14. The Colts are soft. They have talent at the skill positions, but they are not mean.
  15. Unless they find some real OL help in the draft - and even if they do for that matter - we will be in their backfield all game.
  16. I fully expect us to lay the smackdown on Indy week 1.
  17. 2013: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000153564/article/buffalo-bills-set-to-duplicate-florida-gulf-coasts-cinderella-run 2014: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000357124/article/buffalo-bills-primed-to-snap-14season-playoff-drought-in-2014
  18. He had been calling for our ascension the past couple years and really, really liked Marrone for whatever reason.
  19. Everyone is heralding the updated Colts as the real deal, why? Because they signed Gore and Johnson? Two guys past their prime. I don't think Gore sees the same success behind the Colts line. Look at their backs last year. Bradshaw was decent before his injury from a fantasy perspective, but a lot of his yards we catches out of the backfield. Their line overachieved thanks to Luck and probably coaching, but their players, if you line them up with ours, are worse. A great QB makes all the difference, I know. But we totally handled the best one in the game. I am not worried.
  20. Guys, if Dareus is out week 1, rest assured we will be fine. The Colts OL is crap. The Colts are good because of Luck, with some help from a small supporting cast. They are not that good of a team and Pagano is not that good of a coach. They made it to the AFCCG because they got to play the Bengals and the Broncos whose coach is also overrated and QB was really hurt. No one has tape on this team yet. Why not play the supposed best teams at home out of the gate?
  21. I do like this. Of all the teams that could play us with extra rest, I think I'm glad it's the Jets.
  22. Why isn't the Eagles game primetime?
  23. Would you say that any of those 3 teams have had "great" success? I wouldn't I think some or most of that falls on having mediocre to average QB play too, however.
