I didn't catch who was talking on my local sports radio, but he was a guy involved in scouting and drafting at the NFL level. He said that concussions are sometimes an issue that takes a player off the board completely. Maybe it was an issue for some teams in this case.

One of the reasons this draft is so interesting is because there was no consensus on these QBs. Every one of these four guys was seen at #1 at some point and all of them have strengths and weaknesses. I was also hoping for Rosen after we moved up, but now hopeful we get the most out of a guy with huge upside and thankful we are coming out of it with an absolutely freak linebacker to boot.

How is Guice passed over again?

Mayock, Walter Football and countless other draft guys have Allen ranked as the #2 QB. I am not totally sold on him either, but I've seen some of his games and he's got some impressive ability. Needs some work, OK with him sitting if he has to. Let's get behind the kid and win some Lombardis dangit!

Seahawks also have other holes at positions that are rife in the draft (TE, DL, OL). Really don't get it. Thought for sure they'd trade down again.

What makes you guys think one of them would have been there? Obviously the Cardinals thought Miami was in the mix. What if the Cardinals jumped and then Miami took a QB instead?

Beane has piled up good picks getting rid of dead weight and dough so he could make these moves. We got two high first rounders and a 3rd rounder in a draft, We got a first and two seconds last year. I'm totally OK with this. I'm trusting Beane to get the guys we need and McD to maximize their potential.
