  1. that's the difference. I do not look at JP as a savior. but Drew was a liability in that he was a 12 yr vet with no mobility and suspect accuracy. Long ball, he was accurate, but touch passes and timing routes? he stunk. He was viewed as a savior when he came here (parade anyone?) and maybe that was unfair to him. But to say we made a mistake for getting rid of him is baseless. he had plenty of chances and failed more than he helped. it's true.
  2. couldn't agree with you more
  3. i am hopeful for next season, but I am realistic, so I can't argue with their assesment that we may not equal 9-7 again. BTW, you inspired me to change my avatar.
  4. just watched it. nice individual pieces on each team in the Div. Lots of talk about Losman, as expected: -Parker feels the O-line and Willis are the key to JP's success. -Wilcots thinks the D is the key to his success. But also said Mularky's style of O will utilize Losman's athletism. -Mayock feels that JP forces too many passes, but also added that his weak Wave team may have had allot to do with it, but he's skeptical. The Draft: -Mayock feels that if Baas is available, they will jump all over him (duh, but highly unlikely). If he's not there, you address the other loss, Pat Williams, and you go for DT Antaj Hawthorne from Wisconsin. -Parker thinks they should go TE, which I thought was interesting because he said it would help JP in two ways, as help on the O-line and as a target for getting out of tight spots. Therefore getting 2 needs addressed in one pick. Regarding Henry: -Mayock feels they need to package Travis in order to move up on Draft Day. He thinks they can get a 2nd round pick and a player from some sucker, err, team out there on DDay. -Solomon feels they could get a 2nd or 3rd for him + a player. (I don't think any of the above happens.) that's all I can remember. oh yeah, and at the very end of the show, all 3 fealt the Bills would not be better than 9-7 because of our 2nd year QB. Hey, JP and Co., let's prove them wrong.
  5. I lived in nearby Reading, PA at the time he went there. I was dating a Criminal Justice major that was graduating in 90 from Kutztown.
  6. Rochester, NY/38/Chandler, AZ
  7. i was a huge boxing fan at one time. But all the PPV and ripoffs have soured me to it. I used to be able to watch boxing for free on national TV. back when they had championship bouts of the GREATEST fighters on ABC Wide World of Sports. FREE. watched with my dad and bros on saturdays. Ali, Frazier, Forman, SR Leonard, Roberto Duran (el manos de piedra), Hagler, Hearns, etc. no way I'll pay for a boxing match after seeing the best ever on reg. TV. No way.
  8. Minnesota............now THEY are loading up on D
  9. free advice tom he's no AD (or Nick)
  10. i caught it last night. very good show. I hate "reality" shows for the most part, but this one's right up my alley. can't believe Reid lost.
  11. he figured if Demi can do it, so can he (he made out better than she did, IMO)
  12. you let your wife in here????
  13. this happens to me quite allot too. But the time i enjoyed it most was at the Comeback game. I had "Joe Oiler" sitting next to me with his steel hardhat on. he was pretty boisterous and animated all the way up until mid 3rd quarter. at the start of OT, he was no where to be found.
  14. That's the problem with the Bills, they live by cute little stories and not big, bad, mean players. that's just plain ignorant. The Bills don't choose the stories that get written. AND, Krumrie's been doing this test for years, when he was in Cinci. And every year that he does this, almost all the lineman interviewed say it was a tough test. I'm sure the Bills (and the Bengals before them) aren't trying to be cute. and I'm sure they don't make this "the" determining factor of a lineman's toughness. I think maybe we should see a video of it. maybe words don't do it justice. and maybe it's talked up a bit. I still would like to see an actual video.

  22. Hey AD, first time caller here. I just got this email from a girl who is an ex-co worker. I always liked her, but she seemed to be interested in only being friends. haven't seen her in a year. We had lunch a week ago. I suggested we meet at the park for brown bag lunch soon. this is her reply: here is my dilema. I can hardly hold back from snappy come backs, no matter how raunchy or off base. I feel the urge to reply "sure, but hold the P" so should I test the waters or risk scaring her off? hurry, she's waiting for my reply.
  23. Mark Schlereth's nickname was "Stink"
