  1. pass the bottle brother. I love you man!
  2. that's what happens when you speak in cliches for so long. i got tired of this "Classy" image everyone associates with Drew (and allot of other athletes) with. Really how classy is he? no one really knows. The guy spoke like a well oiled robot. Always saying what his fans want him to say.You do that enough, you end up talking in circles and really not saying anything. Then you go ahead and contradict yourself and you don't even realize it. my $0.02
  3. I think PFT.com said that TO and McNabb are expecting twins soon. that might be the most accurate report they have ever published.
  4. c'mon. he could have left out the USFL and the exact year, so he more or less said "Kent Hull". KH: "Thanks for not mentioning me by name Mr. ASSlett"
  5. thanks to everyone for the opinions. as for the alcohol suggestion, i'm wayyyy ahead of you, but the gut is still bugging me. a little history about this left knee of mine, i 1st ruptured my ACL playing football near a lot at Rich Stadium 14 years ago. it was after a game, we were waiting for traffic to die down before we headed back to Rochester. we played a spirited game of tackle, me and 6 brothers and a few very game strangers. Well, after a 7 yard burst by yours truly, I took the shot by my brother right at the left side of my left knee. Snap, thud, OW! since that time, it's given me problems and I have sustained a severe case of arthritis, medial miniscus tear, my knee cap cracked, and my MCL is partially torn....oh and the ACL appears to have disintigrated. a complete reconstruction is imminent, but they wont do thatto a 38 year old. thanks again, and protect your knees!!!!
  6. just had arthroscopic knee surgery (second time in 14 years) they gave me percocet and it ain't doing anything for me, but killing my gut. i'm no strangerto vicodin, but isn't percocet supposed to be stronger?

  9. Former LB Little dies at 46 PITTSBURGH (AP) — David Little, a durable linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers who was voted to the Pro Bowl in 1990, died while weightlifting at home in Miami. He was 46. Little had heart disease, and a cardiac fluttering Thursday caused him to drop on his chest 250 pounds of weights, which rolled onto his neck and suffocated him, the coroner said Tuesday. Little was found by his sons, David Jr. and Darien. Little played his entire 12-year career in Pittsburgh after he was drafted out of Florida in the seventh round in 1981. He started 125 of the 179 games he played for the Steelers and once played in 89 in a row. His last season in the league was 1992. His older brother, Larry Little, was an All-Pro guard for the Miami Dolphins. Little is also survived by his wife, Denise, his mother, daughter and four sisters. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright 2005 The Associated Press. 10. my opinion? Don't Drink and Think
  11. i hate to say it, but I agree with you. (not to say I hate agrreing with you Rich, but....nevermind) but seriously, why don't they just have Yankees/Sox games only. a whole abbreviated season, let's say 20 games with just these two teams playing. AND, let them roid it out. who cares? after all, the day I need Congress protecting my kids from following a ball player's habits, that's the day I should have my kids taken away from me.
  12. I must be missing something here can someone produce some video for us who can't read?

  17. "Hold on guys, let me finish giving Mr. Jimmy Johnson the official tour of our facility"
  18. Armor for sleep wonder if they are anything like that new Spanish/Greek group called "Amor for Sheep" ?
  19. I can't get the song to play here at work. but i downloaded a new song from Itunes store called "Give". sounds great, as expected.
  20. That dude had one hell of a Southern Rock voice. I loved this band in the late 70's. The "No Guts No Glory" was a fantastic comeback album for DJB and MH. Not much in the sales dept, but then again, that don't mean sh*t. that album rocked. RIP Danny Joe http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...n_mu/obit_brown
  21. you missed a good one. I saw them here in AZ this past year. they've added a keyboard player. I though at first this would be a mistake to the Mule sound. Was I ever wrong. The guy plays within the band, and is almost non-exsitent on tunes that don't need him. On Deja Voodoo, he accentuates allot of the songs in the way many great keyboard players of the past have. In his playing, I hear John Paul Jones, Tony Banks (Old School Genesis, like the 1st Live and Seconds Out), and even some Pink Floyd on one of the long songs "Silent Scream". Warren Haynes does a great Jimmy Page circa Houses of the Holy on one tune, Lola Leave your Light On. Just some really incredible stuff. Takes a few listens, because they have that Mule drag sound, but it comes to life after the 3rd time hearing it. After that. it's hard to eject. The other bands you mention, yes they all go without saying. I just think too many people don't listen to the Mule and they should.
  22. i like too many, but so few.......trust me, it makes sense. but I have really been hooked on Gov't Mule for a while now. Warren Haynes has become my favorite guitarist. Their latest, Deja Voodoo, is by far the most emotionally charged collection of songs I've heard in a while. Passionate guitar and great attention to detail have catapulted this band into the upper echelon for me.
