  1. no flaming here. Question: if you could get a kicker in the draft that could be as good as say, Adam Vinetieri, how many teams would have a problem saying "we took him in the 2nd Rnd" ? listen, the kid kicked in cold weather like right down the River. Not much risk really. I'd take him with #44 or #55, provided there isn't an absolute steal at OT or CB still sitting there when we are up.
  2. last year, the Pats @ Phins...29-28!!!! whatta game. wonder how many people didn't watch it because of the "lopsided" matchup. how about these lousy games, at least on paper: Dallas @ Wash...close one....21-18 KC @ Balt......27-24 Great game! Tampa @ STL 28-21 close game again. Dallas @ Seattle 43-39...one of the best games I saw all year KC @ TEN...these 2 teams sucked right? that game was very explosive...49-38!!! these games were better than the supposed "marquee matchups" the rest of the year on MNF. It's football, and anything can happen. I love the NFL. Turn off the volume on the TV and enjoy the games!!!
  3. if I used my Dog's name and the street I lived on as a kid, it would be By-Tor Scrantom...... a little too close to Scrotum Biter....I don't like these rules.
  4. yeah me too, but of his last game: <snap, crunch> "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! F***!!!! sh--!!!!! MY LEG!!!!!!OH MY GOD PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THE PAIN STOP!!!!!"
  5. nailed it again!
  6. you nailed it brother. MNF for me is a part of life. I don't think I have missed a game in 25 years. Howard Cosell told me about John Lennon getting shot.
  7. you're easy to please Mike Patrick tries to make the most routine play sound like the player just karate chopped a mountain in half. Paul Maguire is even worse. He says "Watch this..right here...WAP! " This he says when a screen pass touches someones hands or a LB wifs on a tackle. Me and my buddies sit there and shake our heads when he does that. The replay shows something entirley different than what he thought he saw. He's bad....you are a homer. Joe T is probably the worst one of the bunch. I'm telling you, ESPN should throw Ron Jawarski in the booth. The smartest MF'r on ESPN, football-wise
  8. Re: Dennis Miller, at first, I said "what are they thinking?" after three weeks I was saying "genius!" he was good for MNF. but of coarse, they always know how to screw up a good thing. Take Lisa Guerrero....sure she didn't know where the game was being played from week to week....but she was a comedy goldmine!!!
  9. I just love the fact that it's on a crappy day like Monday. I do miss Cosell/Meredith though. Madden is unbearable. It wouldn't surprise me if he had it in his contract to have 3 Brett Favre appearances on MNF, or the deal is off. You know who would make a good MNF team? I like Micheals, Jawarski, and Fred Willard as the funny guy! Genius, I tells ya!!!
  10. Willie West Whitten no sh*t
  11. I love that at the bottom of the story they have the addresses for nfl.com, atlantafalcons.com, and ronmexico.com but seriously, i better be careful.....SDS might yank my avatar away!!!!
  12. any soap???? Rock, does your skull flake like a bastard or what? I tried bar soap once and it looked like I stood on my head on Tony Montana's desk.
  13. Ross Tucker has his work cut out for him then. Remember that preseason Game of the Week when WM scored his 1st TD against the Broncos? Tucker was mic'd and said "WOOO HOOO!!! What's up Willis???? Hand it to the ref! hand it to the ref!!" he was telling him to just hand the ball and act like it's no big deal. I kind of liked that about Tucker.
  14. there was a Sunday niter here in Tempe, AZ against the Cards a few years ago. it was pretty fun! especially when Henry Jones took their onsides kick back for a TD to ice it.
  15. Goo, I have been doing it for about 4 yrs now (see my profile). It's addicting! I shave 2x/wk with a Sensor or Sensor Excel. My head shines like crazy when I take the razor to it. I go to the gym every morning and on shaving days I sit in the steam room for a bit to soften the stubble. Works like a charm. That helps cut down on the dry skin factor as well. To avoid the gloss, you should shave it and feel it as you are shaving. My mistake is that I like to shave it really smooth, so I feel no grain whatsoever. You should probably not do that. I notice if I rush through it, it still looks smooth, but less shiney. It's that second and third pass that really gets down to the skin and shines real bad. Also, check this site out. http://www.headblade.com/Merchant2/merchan...egory_Code=2000 also, check out their shaver. I don't have one, but I may buy one to try it out. http://www.headblade.com/default23.htm the poster who suggested using Aloe is right on. I usually use Nivea shaving cream on my head. Good Luck Brother, and welcome to the club. ( :-)>
  16. slipped and hit the "Add Reply" icon, didn't ya

  18. well, obviously she doesn't know you!
  19. i watched it sunday. 1st time ever for me, watching the Masters. Looks like I picked the right time to watch one. is it just me or do they skimp on the replays when they televise these? I yelled at my buddy to come in the house and watch the replay right after he hit it. They took forever to show it again, it seemed.
  20. you need to live it up a little!!!! go out and paint the town red tonight! have fun buddy!
  21. currently 38 83.5 i'll take that as well. thank god my grandma lived past 98 (Gramps was close with a 95.) that may have helped my score a bit.
  22. wasn't Bennett 55 and 97?
  23. ...they take a CB with #8? therefore leading to the TH trade? maybe... i don't have a link, just heard it on a Phx AM sports station.
