the bigger picture was that peca saw what was happening with the regas/adelphi stuff. I still have a problem with the way that he and hasek left the team, but all in all, i'd take peca back in a heartbeat. as for the cheap shot for guys who cross the line, that's weak. mickey, the end result was a TD. Your analysis was pretty accurate that he didn't hit the hole behind shelton, but he improvised and got a TD. Much better than taking a 3 yard loss by hitting the wrong hole and not correcting yourself. The end result is that he brings this dimention to the table, whereas guys before him don't. I really can't wait to see him develop even more.

nick, i've had 5 people from work give me their computers to "fix". the only thing wrong with them was that they all had 128mb of ram, running XP. I increased the pagefile and all was well. However, why 128mb of ram? it makes no sense to me to give the BARE minimum when doubling the ram should only cost a little bit?? I got 256 mb of pc-133 SDRAM for like $45 a few weeks ago for one of my computers. i guess this is why i build my own computers, so i don't get stuck with this problem in the future.

get more ram?? its cheap. If its low memory, then i'm going to venture to guess that you got a dell or HP computer about 3 years ago with XP home and it only has 128mb of ram. You can easily get 512mb of ram for $100 if you look. If you have win9x with low memory, then friend, its time for an upgrade.

i hands down agree, FFS. That first TD did indeed look busted, but the mark of a great back (Thurman, Emmett, Faulk, Martin, WILLIS) is to improvise and cover your mistakes, if one was made. Willis pretty much took care of that!

All i can say to that is GIT 'ER DONE! Corp says that Blackbear needs to get a better host than crappy geocities before Wallers take him seriously! oops... i guess i didn't see the laptop mentioned in the original post. It was like i pretended to skim over fake fat sunny's posts! As for my specs, they will pretty much be the same for a laptop. for the wireless portion, just make sure its 802.11g. My dad has a sony vaio laptop with a widescreen display. That thing rocks the world.

CPU: At least 2.5ghz p4 or AMD RAM: 512mb or greater. Video: ATI or NVidia 64 or 128mb card. nothing fancy OS: XP pro, unless your work calls for a certain Linux version. HDD: 80gb or higher, SATA CDrom: DVDrw/cdrw drive LAN: if you buy from dell or gateway, etc, they will have an onboard LAN right on the motherboard. I'd stick with wired, unless you get a laptop, then get a centrino chip that has wireless built into it. sound: Whatever the basic sound card option is, should work. If you're going to upgrade in the future, get a whole lot of ram, top of the line sound card ($200 or so), most expensive ati or nvidia card ($400), fast sata HDD, and whatever the top of the line processor is. For a basic computer that you've described, you'll spend about $500 with a cheapo monitor. If you get into heavy duty gaming, $4,000 is a good budget to get into. You can "build" your computer at one of the retailer's websites to meet your price and performance needs. good luck and let us know what you ended up with. I personally build my computers, so they don't have a service plan. I think its a waste of money to buy a service plan. just my $2000/100000.

ah, the wireless debate. I use a wireless router for my wife's laptop. I have all the necessary security implimented (not broadcasing ssid, wpa-psk, mac address filtering, changing ssid/wpa passwords/admin passwords weekly, etc.) On her computer, i am able to see 6 and connect to 5 other wirless networks somewhere around my apartment complex. Basically, through stupidity (naming your computer/SSID your surname), i've found all of victims and explained how to lock their networks down. I've made close to $200 worth of various gift certificates through this method. I'm fairly confident that my own network is pretty secure. Even so, i know my computer itself is extremely secure if someone happens to find their way through my NAT. btw, i have the d link di-624 c2.
