  1. I second that. The buffalo bills are the ONLY reason why i watch the NFL right now. I watch NHL because i love hockey, and it seems to be more pure than it was in the past. I also watch NHL hockey because i love the buffalo sabres. If the sabres moved, i'd still watch hockey. I love college football. Don't have a team. Don't follow the players at all. But college ball is pretty pure (at least in D-II or D-III) so i watch it. I get to go to local high school games for free due to my job and i love that. The NFL however is so business first, game second that its a joke. My love for the bills is the only thing that keeps me watching right now. Directv could offer me a lifetime free subscription, or free HD equipment if i choose to keep sunday ticket, and i'd still think twice about that deal, simply because i cannot stomach games that have no bearing on the buffalo bills.
  2. well, to each his own, i guess. I will not ridicule you for following the bills if they leave. However, my point of view is that i love football because of the bills. My love for the bills falls slightly below my love for my family and being a good person. And i mean slightly. If the bills left town, the NFL would be completely dead to me. Of course, i'd watch it if there were nothing else on tv, like i did for the masters yesterday, or say, the kentucky derby. I could never have a place in my heart for the bills franchise if they moved out of my town. I could never fill the void in my heart with another NFL team. Two different points of view i guess.
  3. the best thing to happen to the bills would be the saints, vikings, chargers, etc. to move to LA before ralph dies.
  4. you'd actually root for the bills if they moved? shame on you for actually admitting that. if the bills move, the NFL is dead for me. the only positive is that i'd get to cancel sunday ticket and save $250/year.
  5. then he can do what any good dad would do: put him in rehab. when he's done, teach him to change a tire and work on small engines.
  6. ok, i've stayed out of this long enough, but how does the team lose out on the shared revenue if wilson dies or sells the team??
  7. I know its slightly off topic, but someone has to find that mastercard parody picture of the two fags holding each other when dom made a save on a Cryer. edit: nevermind
  8. not much to add here, but a report of a fistfight in a voluntary minicamp is more heart than i've seen in 8 years.
  9. sabresreport.com is always recruiting new members!
  10. 9AM on espnnews. Any predictions?
  11. i agree.
  12. never fear. darcy tucker will have the "kasperitis flu" on april 16. Either that, or he'll face suspension the day after the leafs have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. In the end though, its not about sour grapes, its about motivation.
  13. well, i believe that marv and tasker were employed byt he bills last year to do those games (bills tv or some crap like that). Whatever he said can be thrown out the window.
  14. that was one video... The only thing you can draw from that is that the kid was hendrix good. If he can compose his own music, and he's 12, we'll hear about him in a few years. Too bad he didn't show his face. When he becomes famous, the E network would have some dirt.
  15. he was one MRI away from fighting tyson at the ralph... i'm not into boxing at all. I'm far from an expert, but that's a contender in my book.
  16. Well, we'll learn one of two things tonight: 1) if he's still a legit heavyweight champ contender 2) if living through his last fight was a miracle
  17. We should save all these stupid posts to show our 98 year old owner and his partners so they can laugh about what the media said about them before they won all those super bowls.
  18. Well, considering her name is Jill Carroll and not J'uanezill Carroll Washington, jesse won't care too much.
  19. Just heard on CNN. There's no link yet at the website, but they're reporting that the Christian science monitor is reporting that she has been released. Now, maybe she can try to convert some jews in amherst instead of card carrying terrorists over in iraq. Glad all is well edit: here's the link
  20. "Oh Jesus, when I hold the bat, my palms sweat and i steam up my glasses"
  21. ONLY a $100 million difference between the bills and skins? That's actually not that bad, considering the numbers the NFL deals with.
  22. I think this crash is a good example as to why i follow F-1. There's a much less risk of deadly crash on a road track than an oval track. That and it takes different skill to navigate the circuits.
  23. RIP paul dana. Nasty nasty crash. http://sports.espn.go.com/rpm/news/story?s...Id=1&id=2384873
  24. bump... Well, my tivo recorded what i thought was the scientology episode. When i watched it this morning, it was the sundance festival moves to southpark episode. Somewhere along the line, someone backed down to the pressure. I just hope that the scientology episode makes it to dvd.
