  1. What's your drink of choice? Vinegar and water? At least you have a sense of humor. That should work here.
  2. It could. But that isn't what happened, in all likelihood.
  3. "Rabbit Season!" -Daffy
  4. It stopped being all that fun quite a while ago. But, whatever. Back to the TO group. Wouldn't they have to go back to square one, more or less? They aren't currently in the process, right? After all they constitute a new bidder. Now I suppose Morgan Stanley could fast-track them, as they have already been involved, albeit with a different group (one led by JBJ). But, for instance, did these guys attend the meetings with The Trust? Have they met Mary Wilson, and assured here their intentions are to keep the Bills in Buffalo? It seems to me, on a deal of this scale, it would take longer than a week to do all of the things necessary to make the Sept 9 deadline. Again, not worried about these guys, just thinking out loud (and online).
  5. Let's move on from the QB discussion for a minute. We should see a few "acceptable" TEs available today. I don't expect anything earth shattering, but perhaps someone with some possible upside for depth, as our TEs haven't been too healthy lately. So far Mike Flacco and Kellen Davis have become available. Who else is likely to be sprung loose? (I didn't see this posted anywhere yet today. If so, delete or merge please.)
  6. To be clear, I don't believe I called him any names. I believe he was simply owning his own douchebaggery. I find that commendable in an odd way. Why else would someone come here and immediately announce they had been banned from another forum---and now they are here? "I guess I'll be hanging out here now" We should be honored, right? After all, the only thing he did, when others disagreed with him, was create an alternative username to harass other posters. What's the big deal. Aren't all forums just a playground for poorly thought out opinions and harassment of those who disagree with yours? Like I said, at least he admitted it.
  7. Hope it's true. It's what we've been hearing for a few weeks now (or what seems like a few weeks, anyway).
  8. While it is likely to cost Pegula (or possibly Golisano) more, I wouldn't exactly say they were screwed out of it.
  9. Not one to pat myself on the back, I will leave it to others. His completion percentage begs to differ.
  10. Thanks Joe....er, Formerly Joe.
  11. \ Agreed for the most part. No real service and employees aren't paid with tips expected to make up a portion of their salary (or shouldn't be). But on the very rare occasion I go to a buffet restaurant I always order a couple of beers (the wine in those places is typically undrinkable). That involves some service so I do leave a tip for the service I've received.
  12. Ah. Very nice. i guess posting intelligent, and reasoned posts is too much to expect from some people. And there is simply no reason for you to discuss your disagreements with others (at least those who posted intelligent and reasoned positions) in an adult fashion. Better to disrupt the board using a second user name. I get it. Well at least you are a self-admitted douchebag. Some people don't just come right out and make it so clear. Enjoy the ride.
  13. Sure, Orton is a proven SB winning QB. Can't go wrong. Pic?
  14. Agreed, But I really doubt the Bills did that. Many have criticized the Bills for being too nice, and upfront, with players---not ruthless enough. I have a feeling Palmer knew exactly what he was brought in for. Can't say for sure, of course.
  15. Nice, Too bad he doesn't have better taste in booze.
  16. I'm going to go WAY out on a limb here and suggest it wasn't that you criticized EJ but the manner in which you did it. Prove me wrong.
  17. Agree 100%. JBJ was the cover and potential reason to believe this wasn't just an attempt to grab a team for Toronto. Ultimately, as we know, the cover was quickly blown off. Love that JBJ is no longer an issue, but it leaves the TO boys to up the ante. But now there is no more plausible deniability about the motives. In the end probably won't matter---except possibly in the price.
  18. We honestly don't know they didn't approach Orton earlier. They may have. Orton was possibly waiting to see if a contender had an opening (or has been mentioned perhaps didn't want to go to training camp). It looked as though the Bills were settled in to having Thad as the backup until now. Maybe Orton didn't think this was a good spot for him.
  19. Nobody ever gets banned for a reason. I'm sure you will have a long and productive run here, though.
  20. That would be a pretty good QB lineup actually. Depends on what you mean by controversy. Media and fans, perhaps. But what's important are coaches and the team. I think this is EJ's team and job to lose. I doubt they will be quick on the trigger here. Bailing on a 1st round pick with less than one year experience is a pretty stupid move, especially when you beefed up the WR corp and (supposedly) the OL. Neither QB will be ready to play for a few weeks. If EJ plays at an acceptable level, and shows improvement, the Bills have now found some legit depth. Let's just hope they don't need it too soon.
  21. Sure. Better than Tuel. Still I would like to see a veteran brought in, if possible (and not one that has been sitting all preseason).
  22. No veteran signed now will be starting. At least not for a few weeks, and only if EJ fails miserably or gets injured. This is EJs team.
