  1. Well it's more than that. 2-0 is a team record. EJ has passed completed a very high percentage of his passes, has a very respectable QB rating and has done the things many complained he could not/would not do: throw downfield, throw to his anyone other than his primary receiver, etc. And he's improved from game one to game two, this year. I might consider any detractor who at least understands the facts. But, yes. He is far from a finished product as are the Bills.
  2. So, you are saying EJ gets judged by a different standard because of the Bills failures in the past? Seriously? Tom is right, Give the guy credit when he earns it. So far, this year, he has played pretty well. Let the past go.
  3. Well, since EJ sucks, it isn't that good either.
  4. Not sure if you are kidding here, as I don't really know who the hell you are. But anyone expecting a very young QB, with fewer than a season's worth of games under his belt, to play perfect football, is a moron. There have been few, precious few, young QBs who have succeeded in the NFL. Most have had very good teams surrounding them, or at least a good offensive line. For some reason, stupid fans expect every young QB, drafted in the 1st round, to succeed regardless of the team surrounding him. That is simply not a realistic world view. Has EJ been GREAT? NO. But with that said, in the games where EJ has had decent protection, he has delivered a performance good enough to win the game. And he is getting better with experience. If that doesn't' make you optimistic, then there is probably nothing he can do to impress you, Like Kellyto83, you may have made your decision on this player (before the guy has even played a season's worth of games). And if that's the case, you are a worse football analyst than EJ is a QB---by a large margin.
  5. The missed false starts were horrible, If there is one thing NFL refs rarely miss, it is false starts. It was hard to take.
  6. You guys just don't get it. Until EVERY throw is PERFECT, EJ continues to suck, He didn't throw for 300+ yards? He sucks. I hate to see the EJ bashers stop now. Say it LOUD: He SUCKS!
  7. I'll apologize too, But I want Chandler to show up week-in and week-out. Today, he made the plays and then some.
  8. Still terrified?
  9. I would love to tour the southland in a traveling minstrel show.
  10. Looks like a buffalo to me.
  11. About $800,000 for the contract (4 years) less than Preston Brown's contract. The real difference is when you compare it to the 2nd round.
  12. I'd like to think they wouldn't be in the same division, or even conference.
  13. How could he finish his pro day? He was stoned. Cut the guy some slack.
  14. So you are saying it was the drug test, right? No matter what that test "symbolizes" to you, if he passes that test, is he drafted higher? Now I don't disagree with the idea it's pretty stupid to fail that drug test, and it suggests something else is wrong here (anything from just immature all the way to mental issues). But bottom line, he's being punished for failing a drug test. Dress that up anyway you like.
  15. Not a kraut fan. but if it's hard cider, I'm in. That's more like it. Hot coppa?
  16. Well, part of me hope you are right. But do you even believe the league isn't looking to expand there because of their rules? So, tell me about this 75 mile rule. I know there is a TV rule like that, but what is the ownership rule. Where is is measured from (stadium/town center)? How is it measured (direct line, driving distance)? If a huge mountain separated the two markets, would that make a difference?--OK, maybe I don't need that answer. But seriously what is the NFL rule regarding expansion into current NFL markets? Because, for virtually every commercial purpose, Toronto is a completely separate market than Buffalo. The Bills are lucky to be able to tap into that adjacent market, in another country, but I hardly think the Bills have any rights to it.
  17. If the ocean was whiskey and I was a duck...
  18. Ralph sending a sign.
  19. That's one way of considering it (and the way I would likely consider it, if I were in his position). But another way of looking at it is this: The Bills 2nd round OT gets approximately $4.8 mill over four years. Seantrel gets approximately $2.3 mil over four years. If Seantrel was really 2nd round talent then it could be said he was penalized over $2 mil for failing a drug test. I can see how some might consider that draconian punishment.
  20. Not sure we want to know.
  21. I believe would fight it. But if the NFL decides they want to put it there, I believe they will get their way. Remember, the Raiders moved BACK to Oakland while the 49ers were there. It might take throwing some extra millions to Pegula to make it happen, though. In a weird way, I'd welcome another team as a Bills fan. A bit of competition in the general region, might serve to keep this team more competitive, year after year. You know what 'they" say: Winning cures everything. If the team wins, the fans will come.
  22. THIS team has only played in one NFL game. So I guess we will see. I'm counting on serious energy.
  23. Less pocket presence? Maybe. Less mobile? Not a chance. "The Statue" was a deserved nickname. When he played for the Patriots* it was obvious a good sack or two would totally disrupt Blowsoe's game. I rooted for him when he was a Bill and he could throw the ball, that's for sure. But I would have liked to see Johnson or Losman behind a really good pass blocking offensive line, before they became too battered and booed to be of any use. Part of that blame is theirs. If you can't handle the pressure, you probably shouldn't be in the NFL. But some are lucky enough to get their early starts with an OL that doesn't allow the defense to batter then an every turn. Bledsoe was one of the fortunate ones, IMO.
