  1. Really? You can't figure this one out yourself? 4th Quarter. 1st down at the Miami 23. Short pass, Run,. Run. 4th Quarter after the sack of Tannehill on 4th down. Three runs in row. Last one by EJ, not risking a thing.
  2. I think I see a bit of Hines Ward in Woods. Feisty!
  3. And why I stopped for over a year.
  4. Trying to score a TD? Sure,. Trying to aggressively score a TD? Maybe not. Do you honestly believe coaches don't temper their play calling, anywhere on the field, based on the score? You are persistent in posting stuff without considering the context. Context is everything. OK, maybe not everything,. But a lot.
  5. Well sure,. As long as you don't care about, you know, music. But as far as looking cool and punk and all that, really great.
  6. What in the world are you smoking? I'm not sure if I want some, or if it should be treated as something as dangerous as plutonium.
  7. Not true. Simply not true. Many coaches don't risk turnovers when they have a lead, especially if the FG makes it a 2-score game (for example). In overtime in the Chicago, the Bills ran a kneel down after Fred's big run. Never made a play for the end zone. Don't like that kind of play? Blame the coach.
  8. And yet the HC isn't allowed to challenge them. I believe they are quickly reviewed upstairs. If they are flagged on that quick review, then they go for a more extensive review. Obviously they aren't reviewed the same way as if a coach challenged them. To tell the truth, that's the way I'd prefer all plays be reviewed. Only obviously blown calls (everyone in the stadium knows it except the guy who made the call) would be reversed. Close calls should stand as called on the field. If you need four angles and 3 minutes to make a decision, you shouldn't be overruling the call. Again, IMO. But clearly that isn't what the NFL is currently doing---except on scoring plays and turnovers. Another area where they lack consistency. With all of that said, I believe the TD would have stood as called.
  9. Oh my. Someone should give those poor dead boys some music and voice lessons. Never be ashamed of an education or to ask for help!
  10. True,. But you fail to mention the play calling typically is influenced by the score. If they are playing from behind, perhaps they are a bit more aggressive.
  11. But none of that will matter when the Bills play a "good" team! Apparently the team that beat the Pats* isn't good enough. If he plays well against the Chargers, well, they lost against Arizona for Christ's sake! See how that works? Houston? What with Fitzpatrick at QB...c'mon that's not a try measure of EJ's skills. Detriot? Carolina crushed them. Etc... If the Bills win, and EJ plays well, it's clear the other team MUST suck,
  12. See I think I know what you are saying. But how can you make that judgment about a guy with 12 NFL games under his belt? At this point, he is what he does, IMO., If he was a 5-year vet, I can understand saying he is playing better than who he is. But if you think you already know how good/bad EJ is going to be, I think you are fooling yourself.
  13. What? Speak up?
  14. Well obviously that game was pretty intense.
  15. that's what I'm talkin' bout
  16. I have looked at it and disagree. But it doesn't' really mater, right? BTW, ALL scoring plays are supposed to be reviewed. I assume this one was too.
  17. I had to believe the Bills would be fired up today, Too much positive stuff was "in the ether" for them to come out flat. BTW, how loud was it at the stadium today?
  18. A reasonable assessment.
  19. Not sure there is much Chandler hate. But for a guy who isn't particular a stellar athlete, or blocker, he's really only valuable if he catches pretty much everything he gets his hands on. Early in his career here, he was valuable in the red zone. When he starts dropping easy passes, his value plunges, IMO. He may have led the team in receptions, but he also dropped passes he has to catch, IMO. This season didn't start too well when he dropped a very catchable pass from EJ in Chicago. But give credit where it is due, he really stepped up on that catch today. I will certainly root for him whenever he is on the field. With that said, the team could use an upgrade at TE.. Better starter? Perhaps, But at least another decent quality reliable TE. I'm not looing for Gronk or Graham or even Vernon Davis. Bennett would have been a good pickup for us. Who knows, maybe Whaley tried. Could Gragg become that? Too early to tell.
  20. Why wouldn't he? From what a few seem to say, EJ still sucks. Don't let a good game or two dissuade you from any preconceived notion.
  21. I've like Cousins all along. I may be wrong. But he always seems to step up when called on. Remember he is a young QB who gets limited reps in practice. It will take time for him to completely develop.
  22. Mrs Beer Ball, please tell Beerball to unlock the EJ thread. I haven't finished insulting people yet! Oh, and good to have you here.
  23. WTF were they thinking!!!!
