Aside from me - - this sounds way to over-dramatic, but Floyd played a big part in my life (not in a drug-using kind of way).

What do you think was more likely: 1) I did not see the prior thread; or 2) I saw that thread and said to myself, that thread was not enough and I am going to post it again so I can piss-off a messege board elitist who will post a sarcastic question like, "this wasn't good enough?"

I have run a very fun and competetive league for the past five years. We are now moving to a keeper league and there is one spot open. The cost is $100 plus $13 for the web site. There will be a live draft, meaning you will have to show up. The draft is August 19 at 1pm in Buffalo. The league is made up of 10 guys ranging from 23 yrs old to 33 with college students, lawyers, and construction workers. I want someone who will be dedicated to the league beyond this year, who likes fantasy football and is experienced. This is a league I will run for years to come and the owners tend to become friends. So I do not want someone who is going to come in and be a jerk (i.e. complain about the rules, owners, etc). If you join the league you must join it "as is." PM me if you are interested.

Joe Stevenson is the real deal. The cut on his opponent almost looked fake it was bleeding so much. THe Josh Burkman was also vary good. The "main-events" were non-events. I do think the ORtiz-Shamrock fight was stopped too soon, especially considering Shamrock is so skilled at submissions. However, I would give HUGE deference to Herb because I don't think Shamrock had an answer to TIto. He was pressed against the cage and looked like he crushed and cut by those elbows. Even if he did survive for 3 1/2 minutes, his face would have looked worse than it did after the first fight.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Jefferson on of the firsts to advocate for a public education system as a necessary component of an informed ellectorate?

There is hardship in that all wrestlers sign a non-compete clause that states they cannot work for any other wrestling promotion after leaving WWE and they also can not join any MMA outfits like UFC, K-1 or Pride. However, as stated above, Brock Lesnar was able to negotiate a settlement with the WWE after a bitter court battle. Lesnar is scheduled to fight in OCtober with K-1. I am not sure who he is fighting but he is calling our Royce Gracie.

Did Shamrock make a WWE appearance? If so when and under what context?

I will be ordering it - though I don't think Shamrock stands a chance in hell. I am more interested in the heavyweight fight. I think Silvia will win that.
